Solari has a good reputation though.
Ask Landry.
His base $$ has been low.He never should have received that extension. He was never more than solid - the type of guy who, in today's NFL, you should be able to replace when his contract runs out. The type of extension he received should be reserved for foundational pieces - which he was never close to being.
Most of the coaches are going to leave after big Mike is let go.
Zeke should have been cut yesterday. He’s gonna get cut.

@ this point....I would roll with Bass in the line up...It's times to move on from him. Dallas cacan save 14 million in cap space if he's a post June 1 cut in 2025. With Zack Martin probably gone also, just rebuild the o-line. Maybe move Guyton to RT his natural position, let Tyler take over at LT draft a RG/LG.
100% agree. It's times to move on from him. Dallas cacan save 14 million in cap space if he's a post June 1 cut in 2025. With Zack Martin probably gone also, just rebuild the o-line. Maybe move Guyton to RT his natural position, let Tyler take over at LT draft a RG/LG.
Yeah probably, BUT before we move on from any young olinemen I'd like to see them under a different coach. I dont believe this staff or scheme is getting the best out of any of these guys. It's times to move on from him. Dallas cacan save 14 million in cap space if he's a post June 1 cut in 2025. I suppose we can disagree but to me it doesn’t sound like either one of the Joneses to pay him 13 million to not play for them. It’s already guaranteed in cash that’s yet to be paid. The cap savings is an accounting thing. He’s gonna get cut.

I'd ask.....Are you truly ready for that. Can you endure a Rebuild under the likes of Jerry? It's times to move on from him. So can every receiver besides Lamb wouldn't be on the field as another roster.I think he’s still struggling with his knee recovery
Agree with moving on from Martin though - shell of his former self and a warrior and all time great
O-Line is a bigger issue than what has been discussed
Can’t block and can’t pass protect - I hear those can impact your offenses effectiveness
I was just fixing to ask about Bass.@ this point....I would roll with Bass in the line up...
LT- Smith
LG- Bass
C- Beebe
RG- Martin
RT- Guyton
This is the thread where you pretend Terence Steele was once a good player.
Jerry paid him as such but it doesn't make it true. This is the thread where you pretend Terence Steele was once a good player.
It's like someone added 50 pounds of leg weights to both legs. He has zero quickness now. I mean zero. He is revolving door currently. Any beyond average DE looks like Bosa or TJ Watt playing him.He remains too straight up and too lazy to put some pad level advantage into center of gravity. He was the cause of pressure and at least one interception thrown.
I haven't liked his play all season.
100%. He had a few good games early in his career and parlayed that into a big payday. Rather have Tyler at LT anyway and let Guyton play the RT spot that he knows. It's times to move on from him. It’s called self validation. They love it.Correct with the 14 million cap savings (as well as the idea that this guy stinks), but his 13,250,000 salary for 2025 became fully guaranteed this past March.
They love to back themselves into that spot for some reason.
Now….if Jerry wouldnt eat 5 million to not have a lame duck HC and staff for this year, do you think they are going to cut Steele when they have to pay him about a million a week next season anyway? I’m thinking no.
These are the decisions that haunt this franchise, and I have no idea why he couldn’t have been had much cheaper, but they wanted to congrat themselves for finding a UDFA starter….and we know Jerrys line of thinking…higher pay means better performance.
LOL!!! Tyler, Guyton, Beebe..........they are almost done rebuilding.just rebuild the o-line.
