Well said and great analysis. Sometimes we see what we want and our senses trick us. Dak is far from perfect but he doesn’t deserve the amount of negativity heaped on him.

And those same ones that did not, or took a long time to accept Romo. Now act as if he was perfect. Never cost us games by throwing late picks. That cost us playoff spots.

I get frustrated with the Dak fumbles, sack, lack of pocket awareness sometimes. I yell and scream and complain. and whine.
But I also realize he is not as bad as many make him out to be.

I like these comparison stats, and it is funny to see how the haters spin it.
I am not sold on Dak yet, but I am giving him this year. and now we will have to give him next year. to see if / how he improves upon that.
But give him a 100% healthy, consistent OL, then see how that ball protection will be so much better.

Yeah, that play and the Beasley drop. I think both times the defense was selling out for the run. I think they were first down plays? After that they know we're passing and Dak can't find someone. Don't get me wrong, I much rather he take a sack or throw it away over throwing a pick. I will give him credit for that. I can remember him throwing 2 picks in the endzone since becoming a starter. I can live with that.

What's being put to bed exactly? And just because a fumble isn't lost doesn't mean it has not destroyed a drive. If Dak holds the ball way to long, gets sacked and fumbles and we recover, well we are now screwed. It's now 2nd and 18 and we will get a 4 yard check down on 2nd and a dump off to Elliot on 3rd for 3 yards and we are punting.

Dak supporters tend to only hold fumbles against him if the other team recovers. Either way it kills the possession.

Dak simply can't just "throw the ball away" if he's in the pocket and if he doesn't throw the ball within the 3 foot vicinity of a receiver. What would you rather him do? Throw interceptions? Then you will be complaining that he should have just held onto the ball and taken a sack.

As I mentioned before we fix our oline we fix most of Dak's issues. There is no reason for our oline to give up more than sacks than any other team in the league.

The Cowboys are dependent on the OLine. If it does not improve, the offense will struggle in the playoffs.

Better play calling could help to some extent. They call slow developing plays at times when they should only call quick pass plays or runs.
