sure, find trader partner (his agent, team etc) and then get a high pick.

Signing him is the preferred outcome but 85 mil probably eliminates that option
Trading is complicated because he holds all the cards. You can’t trade him till he signs tag, so he controls who you can trade him too and that team will know that
He also had the option of waiting till the deadline and signing tag on his way to go have surgery which pretty much wiped out his whole season
We will get to a point that pulling the tag may be the best option and live with the comp pick next year
I don’t want to have him count 20 mil against the cap sitting at home recovering from surgery
