I have been rolling on the floor for 10 min, I cant breath I have been laughing so hard. Some golden nuggets from posters:

1. JuJo is a young Eddie George
2. Their offense is going to be SICK with him.
3. Barber is overrated and held JuJo back.
4. He is lightning quick
5. He is worth $3 to $4 mill per yr.

HAAAAA BAAAAAAA HAAAAAAA BAAAAAAA

The majority there think he sucks or would rather pick someone else up.

What's it going to be then, eh?

Why is this so amusing?

A large part of this board was defending Jones at this same time last year claiming Coach Parcells was the reason why he was ineffective.

Strangely, they have all become silent.

No matter what he didn't do in Dallas, I still think he could be a good back elsewhere. Not a great one, but definitely serviceable on a Chris Brown level.

They are probably looking to have a tandem of JJones play the scat back and continue with Pilsbury boy Lendale White playing the main starter. I don't see Chris Brown coming back.

In essence, JJones would have a job, but I wouldn't see him as the starter unless he really showed up during camp and made White look horrible.

My hand is up first. I really thought it was Parcells fault that Julius was running like he was. Maybe it was a bit, but I was wrong about him breaking out this past year. Just look at my fantasy team last year and you'll know how wrong i was. :banghead:

"IMO id rather have Dunn come in and play a smaller role than Jones coming in and splitting carries."

"I think the same."

"I hate Julius Jones.
Julius Jones is what Chris Henry could be if he doesn't improve.
All speed no vision.

Vet minimum."

"Skip Jones..Sign Dunn!"

"I'll prefer Dunn over Jones, myself"

"same, I think Dunn would fill what we need much better than Jones."

Doesn't look like they're exactly wetting themselves over there to me.

If Chris Brown didn't get injured every year, he is twice the back that JJ is.

Maybe, but he gets injured every year, so I don't ever see him proving that point especially now that it looks like the Titans won't be re-signing him.

As I said before, I don't see JJones starting, so he won't be more then a backup that plays sparingly while White needs a blast of sugar on the sidelines with his stash of twinkies.

I thought JJ was better than last year. He may be. I don't see it anymore though. He's lost something. A tad bit of a step and some fluidity IMO. I really believe with some weight loss, speed training, and stretching (I mean stretched out) would bring some or all of it back. But I may be full of it, too. I didn't feel Barber was as good as he is either. I thought they were both good. Barber is a touch better than good. JJ is a touch less than good.

And the Titans can have him. It's time to turn a new leaf. I'd not be too upset about JJ staying but I'd rather have new blood and see what happens.

Good point... forgot all about Chris Henry. If he doesn't get caught again with his performance enhancing drugs, I could actually see him taking over the starter position.

In that case, JJones would only be used on third downs possibly. I would look to Detroit if I were him.

I think he played better under Bill. He scared and motivated him. Now he is just a dime a dozen slacker

it's pretty simple actually

Julius just bulked up too much, so he's not very fluid anymore

but I wish him the best of luck, he can run into piles somewhere else

Yup, some of us caught plenty of heat for even suggesting Barber should be the outright starter.

How many people said, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."?

Many here have changed their tune since then.

To be fair i think JJ has the potential to be a pretty good back, he just didn't fit inn here.

don't be surprised if JJ turns inn a pretty good season this season

Well, I was one of the ones who thought he was going to be special. I was so caught up in his rookie performance that I had trouble letting go of that. I felt like it was always right there, just waiting to bust out.

I do remember when we drafted MBIII that someone said that he would be the starter over Julius before we knew it. I don't remember who it was, but I was convinced they needed a straight jacket. Not because I didn't like MBIII, but because I thought Julius was going to BLOW UP.

Well, he didn't blow up, he imploded.

Really, he was a good back for us......I had confidense he would not fumble.....that meant a lot in big moments in the game.
