Titans Are Wetting Themselves Over Jujo!!!!

He bulked up in his upper body and he lost his balance and some of his quickness. Then to compound that he became timid- which probably has more to do with BP. The combination ruined him.

Why is this so amusing?

A large part of this board was defending Jones at this same time last year claiming Coach Parcells was the reason why he was ineffective.

Strangely, they have all become silent.

I was one of those but why argue over player that is no longer a part of our team. :D

Ones man trash is another mans...well you know. I think JuJo is a solid back.

I hope Jones does well where ever he ends up. I think he is a good guy and maybe a change in scenery will help revive his career. Like most I had high hopes for Jones when he 1st came to Dallas but for whatever reason he has not been close to the major threat we saw early on.

Exactly. It's a go-nowhere debate now.

He's no longer a Cowboy and I wish him well.

Too bad solid doesn't equal good starter.

Oh I thought this was about JuJo the stripper. I thought Pac-Man may have brought her home from the strip clubs this last weekend. My bad. I don't want to talk about Julius "So Glad He's So Far Gone We Never Have To Talk About Him EVER Again" Jones.

Though talk about a tandem, and I'm talking about Jones and Jones. The personal disaster and the professional disaster, they would be quite a disaster together.

Since 2006, I've sided on the "start Barber over Jones" team. However, I was doing that because I thought Barber was the better back and JJ would make an excellent back-up. Call me crazy, but I hope that he views the scenery and comes back to Dallas as the back-up under a reasonable deal. He's dependable, knows that schemes and can return kick-offs now since he is not the Starter (He used to return kick-offs at Notre-Dame).

ehh
i dont know he has been a hit or miss kind of runner his whole time here. yet he wasnt running behind that "zone" scheme most of the team. i bet his production will increase slightly but he will still be thet same back. someone email them and let them know they are over reacting.

You know the OL is glad he's gone. Less bruises on thier backs.

And, The Texas Turf, also. Only so many headfirst splatters it can take per season, yknow.

Nothing wrong with that position. I'm not completely sold on Barber as the starter. Was he better than Julius last year? Evidently. Does it mean he can be the lead dog in the future? Maybe. I'd like to see how he does, when he's the man.

As for Julius, I think it would be a hard pill to swallow if he comes back. I doubt it happens. There's a place for him in the league.

I like Julius Jones better than any other Free Agent option still out there. I'm a little shocked that Atlanta paid so much for Michael Turner. They could have taken a RB at the top pf the 2nd round or McFadden in the 1st round. Really stupid move IMO.

True, it would be some serious swallowing of pride to come back to Dallas. Wishful thinking on my part I know, but I'm just being vocal that not everyone thinks JJ is a bum. I would prefer him to a the present version of Warrick Dunne anyday and, if he knows his role, he can be a valuable asset to this or any team.

Yup, some of us caught plenty of heat for even suggesting Barber should be the outright starter.

How many people said, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."?

Many here have changed their tune since then.

Most of us who didn't want Barber starting did so because we feared he wouldn't be the same dominating 4th qtr runner if he did. Imo the divisional game proved our fears to be well founded. MBIII tore it up for a half. In the 2nd half he was a non-factor.

Barber is at his best when used as a closer, not a 25 carry every down back. If JJ isn't the answer as the starter we need to draft someone who can be.

ive been calling for his head for almost 2.5 years now. im so glad he is gone. i was so tired of the run into a lineman and fall down routine.

Hey, that's better than his tripping over the little white lines on the field, or the imaginary yellow one...

I wish him luck. I don't think he's as bad as he played here last year. I think not getting the majority of the carries, the stuff with BP, the bulked up frame have all simply combined to hurt him in the long run.

I could see him going somewhere else, getting a fresh start, a new attitude, and being a solid, contributing, runningback.

I have went through a rollercoaster of feelings with Julius. From HATING the pick (I wanted Jackson in the worst way), to feeling like maybe we made the right choice (if he could just stay healthy) after he showed some huge flashes of brilliance his first two seasons. To feeling a little let down in 06 when he barely topped 1000 yards...to last year just being plain mistified by how he just went all to crap, seemingly.

Good luck to him elsewhere.

I have been rolling on the floor for 10 min, I cant breath I have been laughing so hard. Some golden nuggets from posters:

1. JuJo is a young Eddie George
2. Their offense is going to be SICK with him.
3. Barber is overrated and held JuJo back.
4. He is lightning quick
5. He is worth $3 to $4 mill per yr.

HAAAAA BAAAAAAA HAAAAAAA BAAAAAAA

Wait till they see him in pads. Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane.

How can anyone possibly know this? Because of the divisional game? A lot of our players stunk it up in the 2nd half.

It's not like Barber has never started a game for us before either. You can't say he can't carry the load when no one has seen him do it over an extended period of time.

I take it you too were a fan of the late Joel Buschbaum (aka the anti-Kiper)?

This time of year leading up to the draft is when I miss him the most. Rest in peace, JB.
