Dallas offers a 4th; no go.
Philly offers a 7th, and a happy meal. Ding!

really that high? Im not up n how comp picks are awardedIf they don't trade him they would receive a 3rd comp pick for him anyway.
Deadline isn’t until Tuesday. It’s all just to drive his price upMan the Titans are ridiculous. One of the worst teams in the league, holding on to an old running back, whose value is decreasing geometrically… They should trade everyone even close to 30
They won’t. Comp pics are based off of the value the player signs in his next contract. Running backs make squat…running backs on the wrong side of 30 make less than squat. It’ll be a day three pic… Probably fifth or sixth round.really that high? Im not up n how comp picks are awarded
Ah thanks. Then they should trade him. Likely get something better than a 5/6 pickThey won’t. Comp pics are based off of the value the player signs in his next contract. How long did it take you to come up with that one. I mean really, you should open for Dave Chappell with comedy like that. They probably heard the stuff The Mouth breathing Joneses were offering and didn't want 4 coupons to Golden corral in exchange for Henry.
Excellent point Reality.................all these teams just spew BS and think the fans will just lap it up.There are still 3 days until the trade deadline, so of course they are saying, "We just didn't get a good enough offer for him", hoping some team will swoop in and offer something better.
These tactics like this as well as Jerry's "We're not looking, but we're listening" are so pathetically obvious to everyone yet they think they are being so smart.
Here's what we know .. teams field offers for players up until the last day because "why not?" Unless some teams makes a stupid offer for a player, there is no incentive for any team to trade a player before the end of the trade window.
I don't put any weight behind Jerry's, "We're not looking" media claim nor do I put any weight behind any team that declares 3 days before the trade period ends that they did not receive good enough offers for any of their players.
If it really was not a big deal, the teams would never say anything no matter if they are buyers or sellers.
The fact they are making these statements proves they are lying, at least at this point in time.
You would be surprised how often this really does happen........................some teams just refuse to do business with other teams, be it they are divisional rivals, might be bad blood between the organizations, maybe one owner voted against a proposal by another owner, maybe one team stole a free agent from another team, ect....Dallas offers a 4th; no go.

Good point. This is a classic case of a GM negotiating with interested teams thru the media. There is literally no reason to declare this and for anyone to take it seriously 4 days before the trade deadline.
The fact is they likely are getting trash offers right now. Things won't really get serious until after the games Sunday thru the deadline.Good point.
Unless they are just getting trash offers like 7th round picks, it would be stupid for the Titans to keep Henry.
1. Dude is 30 yrs old, which is the point where analytics say RBs fall off a cliff.
2. TItan's are a rebuilding team, they are not a contender. Probably wont be contenders for several years.
3. Henry will be an UFA at the end of this year, so odds are he walks and the Titans get nothing in 2024 draft and a comp pick in 2025 which will be low.
So the smart play here would be for the Titans to trade Henry for a mid round pick in the 2024 draft. Otherwise, he walks next year, probably signs a cheap deal with a contender to get a ring before he retires, and the Titans dont even get the comp pick until 2025 draft and it would be a low comp pick as well since nobody is giving a 30+ yr old RB the bag.
Like I said, unless they are just getting total trash offers, it would be stupid for the Titans to keep Henry.
I get the this. But man it’s hard to sit Swift. He’s been absolute fire all seasonHe’ll be an Eagle by days end Tuesday…
Earl Thomas part deaux.
25 threads about him, and now they won’t trade him.
Doubtful ! RB isn’t even close to a weakness for either of themGuessing Philly or SF will swoop in and grab him for a 12th round pick
Plus backup rookie TyJae Spears look good and is ready to take overGood point.
