I wonder if the Nashville police consider charges.

Like was said before, there is precedent through the NHL.

Hey z*&$$# , I'm talking about what a worthless PUNK Taylor is, a CRIMINAL punk - and how so many of your amoral brethern are willing to overlook it because he has talent. The Titans fans don't seem to be so obliging.

And before you come out with one word "TO", Owens is no criminal.

I am not talking smack, so why are you getting all riled up? Geez, look at my first post in this thread, I was asking if your Olineman is ok. And I was just saying how Taylor isn't comparable to Hanyesworth. Way to welcome opposing fans who are not talking smack...

Shouldnt you be off trying to figure out how you are going to spin your loss to jacksoville?

No, we lose we lose. When we lost against you guys, I posted afterwards, and I did not make excuses.

Hey, don't forget where you are.

Regardless, I did not attack anyone, I was just saying why Taylor is like Hanyesworth, and everyone else is jumping all over me, when my original post was concerning if your player is ok.

Yeah you did in a thread that was already going to be highly emotional given the topic. That's why 3 people jumped immediately.

Do not give me that bull.

Use that tone here and take what you get.

If you read closer before going off, you'd understand my post was about the relative fanbases...I would NOT expect Skins fans en masse to decry Taylor if he did such a thing, the way Titans fans seem to be doing Haynesworth. And I make my observation based on the widespread acceptance of Taylor's boorish behavior, on field and off.

In sports, generally you can't file charges due to implied consent(I think that is the proper term for this type of situation, if anybody knows better please correct). You go out on the field, you are giving away the ability to file charges if something happens to you. However, I believe that only applies up to a certain point. I believe anything that happens with malice and obvious intent to harm outside of play can be used as basis for charges, just like the incident in the NHL previously.

Whatever, I didn't say anything negative about anyone, I was just defending Taylor. Again look at why I even posted here.

On the field he hits hard and spit on someone. I think most fans would support hard hitting regardless of the team. The spitting, I personally do not support, and I think no Skins fans like the fact he did that, or thought it was right. Some fans thought it was not a huge deal, in comparision to other worst acts. And alot of us were upset, because he was hit in the face, when he spit, it should have been a double personal foul. The NFL should not make exceptions to their rules.

Off the field, he took the law into his own hands, he tried to get back ATV's that were stolen from him, and he used a gun. Stupid, and all Skins fans I know did not support it. But if Ray Lewis can kill someone, and play another year, ST can run around with a gun to get his stolen stuff back. That is just the sad world we live in, those with fame and fortune can bend the law.

If ST did something terrible like that, NO skins fan is gonna support it,at all, because his other actions are not comparable.

Whatever man, taking small quotes way out of context. I was saying I was not attacking anyone by saying, "Don't give me that bull".

I don't not know what to say, if that offends someone...

Implied consent? Yes Maybe but Fat Albert jerked off his helmet and then spiked him, there is criminal intent.

This is why I love living in Nashville. The fans love their football team and they are knowledgeable. But they are also a lot of classy folks. I'm not saying that Nashville has nothing but saints but when compared to Philly, in which I also lived (Lansdale actually) they are far and away above them in class.
