It's funny everyone in the world will attribute this to Jerry, and rightfully so.. but it's held against Romo.
Right….but at the same time Jerry wasn’t the one who fumbled that snap against the Seahawks. Or the Dez non catch. So while I’ll always blame Jerry for how poorly ran we are….we can’t give him sole credit.

Why is that a great point?
Because we will sit here and discredit Aikman for his quality of players around him he didn’t always have it. He had to develop with youth and trash around him. This is revisionist history now where we try to discredit Aikman based on the talent he had. But Jim Kelly and Marino had talent around them and never won.

Who's discrediting Aikman? BTW, they went 1-15 that year, so how exactly does that boost him up? Aikman was a great QB, with incredible accuracy and intelligence, but he wasn't particularly elusive. That's what I meant, when I said he probably wouldn't have held up well in Tony's place.

It’s not about being right or wrong. I’m telling you how it is. You can get mad about it all you want. I didn’t even state my pov on this issue lol. That’s why I said you are being emotional. I’m telling you how it is not how it should be or how it isn’t. We all know wins aren’t a QB stat…well when it’s convenient anyway. You will bring up his regular season wins but want to ignore his playoff record lol.
You keep using stereotypical gossip girl talking points saying I’m mad when I just posted my view on qb win records. You’re not making any sense. You telling me “how it is” doesn’t change me disagreeing with it and if you had a thought of your own you’d understand that. You’re just being a npc on this and that’s all there is to it. I’ve never brought up a qbs wins as a stat because again I don’t see it as a singles stat so take your strawman elsewhere.

I will stand on that hill that says Romo would have won a superbowl if not made it to a couple if he played for an actual football "organization". To accomplish what he did updraft is astounding on its own.
2006 - Fasano doesn't even *attempt* to block the player that ended up taking down Romo from behind on the bobbled fg snap. Fasano just turned around to watch the kick.
2007 - Patrick Crayton pulls up on what should have been the game winning TD pass on the 2nd to last play.
2014 - The UnCatch

2007 was the best chance for a SB. But they played that game against the Giants who beat *everyone*, including the previously undefeated Pats. And then they played it with TO coming back early from a high ankle sprain. And *still*, just a Patrick Crayton brain fart away from going on to the NFC Championship.

2014 our dline was probably just too crappy come the playoffs to compete. The offense was dominant during the season, but Murray had run out of gas come the end of the season. Could Romo and Dez have carried them? Maybe. Tony's *official* QB rating that day was 143.6- probably would have been perfect if they hadn't overturned the call on the field for the UnCatch.

Well, 2016 might have been Tony's best chance for a SB. Truly dominant oline and run game, and a decent defense held together by Sean Lee at his 1st Team All Pro best. But they didn't give Tony the chance.

There is no flaw to my argument. Dak played poorly heading into the postseason, and it carried over. Which ironically, was always the knock on Romo.
You can waste your day arguing about Romo's career. You seem to enjoy it. Romo himself let it go. And FWIW, I think Romo was a better QB but like all others, it is just another opinion.

But your 4 game argument was flawed. However, you're in good company because there is endless flawed QB analysis on this site. Why? Because it is hard. Too many variables to isolate to get any concrete, meaningful information. Just a bunch of biased opinions and guesses.

Is that offensive line as good with Romo though? Dak's mobility did make the offense look different.

Well I say that because you mention that Aikman might not have made it in Romo's place because he didn't have his Elusiveness. Aikman had pocket awareness though. And just as much if not more than guys like Peyton Manning did.

Not surprised. Your type known for lying and exaggerations smh. Nobody looking for a fight. I said my pov and you got conveniently stupid. It’s honestly that simple. I’m not trying to “trigger” you we are online how can words online trigger you? You’re not making sense but again you like to be a victim.
