Ray Rice was released for two reasons. The video came out AND he lied about what went on in the elevator.

Because if his story was consistent with what he told the team and the nfl, he'd just be suspended vs suspended and off the team.

People also need to realize this. Mort pretty much described exactly what occurred that day in the elevator. So explain to me how that can be if no one else besides the police, ray and his lawyer saw the video for the first time today? Some of you guys are so naive about how this stuff goes down.
