Your right, it was and I was justly punished.
Onto the topic, Kurt Angle is a hero to me. The guy lost his wife, was forced into a storyline for 7 months with the man who stole her from him. You know what? I'd drink too.
If he drank and drive i'm sure he wasn't much past he .08 limit, with the weight he has dropped in the past few months I wouldn't be surprised at all if he had 2, 3 drinks and thought oh im good, got in the car got pulled over and got in trouble because he BAC was a little over. It happens when you lose weight & he looks like he has dropped 30 or so pounds.
I prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt, until proven wrong. It's the law in america, and I personally believe it's what I would prefer if I was in a similar situation.
First off I laugh at the notion that they're framing him. That's stupid for Angle, or his people, to even try and hint at such a thing. He's pissed because he has a history of pills and drinking and it's hitting him again. Sorry Angle but no one is surprised. This has been your MO for a while now.
That said I'd like to discuss the bolded portions of your comments.
First off he wasn't forced to do anything. That's the great thing about being an athlete like him, or anyone in this world to be honest, you have choices. He doesn't have to agree to that stupid storyline so he has no one to blame but himself for doing that stupid storyline. I do not feel sorry for Kurt that he agreed, I feel bad that TNA is so stupid that they waste him with junk like that.
The second part...bull. There is simply no excuse, none, for driving after you've been drinking. I will not entertain a single excuse or 'yeah butt' when it comes to people who drink and drive. If you get behind the wheel of a vehicle, after you've been drinking, then you have no one to blame but yourself if you get a ticket, get arrested, or God forbid kill someone. It's a stupid, and irresponsible act, and it should not be taken lightly...even for an Olympic Gold Medalist.
Now with all that it's going to be a sad day when one of these posts is to tell everyone that Kurt Angle has died from one of these addictions he can't seem to kick. It will be a sad day but, unfortunately, it will be an expected one. And that's probably the saddest part of it all.
