Well no matter the employer a wrestler in trouble is one in trouble. Not as though WWE guys are immune to issues. Jeff & Matt both had them when they worked there...Kurt's trouble didn't start in TNA. I didn't find Z's original post anything but just saying this has happened. I'm pretty sure he is an Angle fan. He needs help. That pretty much trumps whatever he does in TNA.

I am ..... very much one.

But that guy has a history with me that goes all the way back to his Romo bashing.

Oh ok...I was confident you liked Kurt. Can't think of anybody myself that likes pro wrestling that doesn't see how good Angle has been. I hope he has support from his family & friends & gets help. I tired a long time ago of reading wrestler's obit's.

Your right, it was and I was justly punished.

Onto the topic, Kurt Angle is a hero to me. The guy lost his wife, was forced into a storyline for 7 months with the man who stole her from him. You know what? I'd drink too.

If he drank and drive i'm sure he wasn't much past he .08 limit, with the weight he has dropped in the past few months I wouldn't be surprised at all if he had 2, 3 drinks and thought oh im good, got in the car got pulled over and got in trouble because he BAC was a little over. It happens when you lose weight & he looks like he has dropped 30 or so pounds.

I prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt, until proven wrong. It's the law in america, and I personally believe it's what I would prefer if I was in a similar situation.

First off I laugh at the notion that they're framing him. That's stupid for Angle, or his people, to even try and hint at such a thing. He's pissed because he has a history of pills and drinking and it's hitting him again. Sorry Angle but no one is surprised. This has been your MO for a while now.

That said I'd like to discuss the bolded portions of your comments.

First off he wasn't forced to do anything. That's the great thing about being an athlete like him, or anyone in this world to be honest, you have choices. He doesn't have to agree to that stupid storyline so he has no one to blame but himself for doing that stupid storyline. I do not feel sorry for Kurt that he agreed, I feel bad that TNA is so stupid that they waste him with junk like that.

The second part...bull. There is simply no excuse, none, for driving after you've been drinking. I will not entertain a single excuse or 'yeah butt' when it comes to people who drink and drive. If you get behind the wheel of a vehicle, after you've been drinking, then you have no one to blame but yourself if you get a ticket, get arrested, or God forbid kill someone. It's a stupid, and irresponsible act, and it should not be taken lightly...even for an Olympic Gold Medalist.

Now with all that it's going to be a sad day when one of these posts is to tell everyone that Kurt Angle has died from one of these addictions he can't seem to kick. It will be a sad day but, unfortunately, it will be an expected one. And that's probably the saddest part of it all.

Yeah I can't imagine there are too many wrestling fans out there who don't like Kurt. The guy is fantastic, always has been, and it's a shame that he can't get some things in his personal life cleaned up before he winds up dead at an early age.

Nash said in a recent interview that Kurt should not be wrestling. His body is shot.

He said WWE would not let him pass a physical if he tried.

He said TNA is gonna kill Kurt because they allow him to get checked out by his "personal" doctors instead of TNA doctors.

None of this surprises me in the least. It's a shame that the guy feels he has to do this or something. He'll be another wrestler whose dead way to early cause of decisions like these.

TMZ is reporting today that sources close to Kurt Angle feel that he has been framed by Virginia police after being arrested for DWI yesterday. Angle stated that he passed a breathalyzer test, meaning he was not legally drunk, when he was arrested for driving erratically on Interstate 66 yesterday morning after a TNA house show. Angle's lawyer stated, "We understand Kurt will be entering a plea of not guilty in response to any infractions and/or offenses."

Maybe it was the same people that "hacked" his twitter that night he was posting drunken rants :laugh2:

This isn't hard to figure out. Kurt either straightens his life out or continues down a destructive path. One or the other. He has known many guys he worked with who died. He's not dumb. Just hope he's strong enough to get healthy & stay that way. All the protein powder in the world won't help an alcoholic!

Never liked the guy. He absolutely killed me. From the whole "your olympic hero" plus he is from Pitzburg and likes the Stealers, everything about him.

I remember when Kurt first came to WWE I did not believe he won a gold medal in the Olympics...I thought he was the product of a fantastic storyline out of a creative writer. Although in hindsight that's kind of dumb on my part because it would be easy enough to check out. Then I was told he really won...a duh moment for me. I don't really care where he's from or what team he cheers for. He's one of the best wrestlers ever...Taker said he's an all-time best. He would know. But to each his own...my best friend is a Steeler fan. I just ignore him about all that...

Spare us.. you post nothing negative about the WWE like R2A posts nothing negative about TNA.

Yet when something bad happens with TNA involved you are ALWAYS the first one to point it out and make fun of it.. even when it involves a man's life and is someone you supposedly like.

Spare me the "history" thing too. we're two strangers on a message board. Get over yourself.

You're lack of logic has always astounded me.. other than that, i have no opinion about you. Example one.. the "Romo bashing".

He does infact post nothing bad about WWE, so please don't group me with him.

Angle is a top 5 of all time.

Michaels, Flair, Angle. That's my top 3. The first two are pretty unanimous at this point, after that people debate it heavily. I go with Angle.

While I very much like Ric he is sullying in many ways all he did in years past. Lots of people will remember the silly stuff he does in TNA & that is all. Not every fan spends hours watching old You Tube stuff....He has to earn a living though. I know the vast majority disagree with me about his actual wrestling but I have always thought he was a better performer than actual wrestler. Just my opinion. I've never seen him live where he wasn't entertaining. Bigger than life so to speak.

Oh i'm 100% in agreement with you. He did the same match for 20 years. It was a good format, good moves, entertaining. It got boring.

Flair is more "entertaining", Michaels is the better wrestler. I prefer the wrestling in wrestling than the over-the-top entertainment, therefor I pick Michael's over Flair everytime. Some people may think the other way around, and in that case I suggest watching Reality TV not wrestling, but those people usually pick Flair
