Ric is exceptional as a performer..love the guy. Just wish he would have stayed retired like BH & I posted. The stuff he has had to do in TNA is awful..that story with AJ was just bad...all the big name guys love Ric so that tells me alot.

Flair is starting to slide down my all time list because of this junk he's doing to his career in TNA. It's just pathetic and it shows him a complete shell of the guy who once was The Man.

I take your word for it BH..good time for me to not be watching TNA. AS long as Sting is not Sting I will not watch...and I don't want to see Ric being silly. I know he had money trouble & I think that is why he still even attempts to wrestle.

Probably is and it's very sad.

Then don't watch.. we get it, you don't like the gimmick Sting is doing right now. You've said it 1000 times now. Alright, already. Some like it, some don't. Its not meant for everybody.

Flair is still the same Flair, he's just getting old. Nothing different about his gimmick though.

Virginia state troopers have fired back at angle - saying he was in fact legally drunk at the time of his arrest. State Trooper C.R. Scally was the arresting officer and recorded that Angle failed several field sobriety tests and had a blood alcohol content of 0.091 at the time of his arrest.

Angle was tested once again when he arrived at the Front Royal police department on Sunday morning - and that is where he blew the 0.06 he mentioned in his statement.

Yikes ...... does not look good for Angle ..... maybe this will force him to get some help.

TNA World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle was arrested early this morning on charges of driving under the influence, TMZ.com reports.

The Olympic gold medalist was arrested by Virginia State Troopers and taken to Warren County Jail. He posted $2,000 bond and was released at 3:31 a.m.

Angle was previously arrested on March 25, 2011 in Grand Forks, North Dakota and charged with "being in control of a motor vehicle while intoxicated," after failing a field sobriety test. He later pled guilty to the charges and was on April 20 sentenced to one year of unsupervised probation, a chemical dependency evaluation, a $250 fine, $225 in court fees, and a ten day suspended jail sentence.

Angle was wrestling at the Shenandoah County Fair that weekend (against AJ Styles, IIRC), and I guess he was headed to DC from there...

I tend to believe Kurt Angle. I don't know why,

Because when it comes to that inferior brand of wrestling known as TNA, you're a groupie... you don't WANT to believe anything bad about your "heroes"...

Most young males outgrow that phase by the time they're 10, 12 tops... it's sad that you don't know how profoundly silly you make yourself look when you act like this...

Guy's an American Hero and until he's proven a liar i'm believing Kurt.

And that's PRECISELY why you've become such a cosmic joke, at least on this subject... presumably, you know that this is his third such arrest since 2007, but rather than letting your brain tell you that the guy might have a serious problem, you believe him when he comes up with such a lame copout...

"I was framed"... really, Kurt?? REALLY??

Do tell, why would the Virginia State Police want to set you up?? What's their motivation?? And more to the point, how exactly were they supposed to know that you'd be heading for DC once you finished up in Woodstock, instead of heading south on I-81?? And how exactly were they supposed to know that it was you in the car (I have checked in a few pro wrestlers at hotels I've worked at over the years, and they're invariably travelling in rental cars)...

But rather than think with your brain, you've let your inner groupie take over... that's pretty pathetic...

Guys a top 5 wrestler of all time, now that doesn't attest to his maturity, look at Flair, but Angles different, he was also a legitimate athlete. Guy deserves respect,

The guy's a serial drunk driver, and that most emphatically does not deserve anybody's respect... I might respect him if he FINALLY got help for his problem, but until then, he's just another drunk that I have to worry about running into on the highway...

But hey, you go ahead and "respect" a guy who drives drunk... you were probably a big mark for Jeff Hardy, too...

I don't dislike you, son, but you're coming off quite ridiculous with your endless slobbering over an inferior brand of wrestling... perhaps you should leave those wrestling websites alone for a while, they're just filled with more witless groupies like yourself...

0.091 is low. Isnt legality around .088? Like i said with him losing weight if he never had he wouldve been under it. Let the guy go.

Your right, it was and I was justly punished.

Onto the topic, Kurt Angle is a hero to me.

Oh... my... GAWD...

The guy lost his wife, was forced into a storyline for 7 months with the man who stole her from him. You know what? I'd drink too.

Gee, you don't reckon that his boozing played any role in her leaving him, do you?? Bottom line, their relationship had been rocky practically since the start, a train wreck waiting to happen...

If he drank and drive i'm sure he wasn't much past he .08 limit, with the weight he has dropped in the past few months I wouldn't be surprised at all if he had 2, 3 drinks and thought oh im good, got in the car got pulled over and got in trouble because he BAC was a little over. It happens when you lose weight & he looks like he has dropped 30 or so pounds.

Would you PLEASE stop making excuses for him driving drunk?? He blew a .09, AND failed a number of field sobriety tests on the scene... yeah, .09 isn't "much past the .08 limit", but it is impaired, according to the law...

It's one thing to be a bright-eyed fanboi, that's comical enough, but it's CONTEMPTIBLE that you try to excuse him driving drunk...

I prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt,

When it's your third bust for DUI, you have forfeited the right to "benefit of the doubt", in the court of public opinion... if you don't like that, tough...

It's the law in america, and I personally believe it's what I would prefer if I was in a similar situation.

If you were about to go to trial for your 3rd DUI, you'd better pray I'm not on the jury, because your little butt will be goin' to jail...

You seriously need to find some better heroes, hoss... the ones I hold in such high regard have never been associated with any criminal act... they're my heroes because they're good MEN as well as top athletes-- Jack Nicklaus, Cal Ripken, Tom Landry and Roger Staubach...

Look around and see if you can't find somebody like that to idolize... if you do, you won't find yourself in the awkward position of trying to defend antisocial behavior...

Angle is a top 5 of all time.

He might be, he might not be... what's funny is that you think that your opinion is the definitive one...

Get over yourself, you never even saw the wrestlers I grew up on, 40 years ago... so you are utterly unqualified to judge who is "top 5 of all time"; you're only qualified to pass your OPINION on who is the top 5 of the last 15 years or so... but you are cursed with the arrogance of youth, and think that your every opinion is indisputable fact...

Damn, you're startin' to piss me off, defending that lowlife drunk...

The legal limit in Virginia is .080, and by legal definition, ANYTHING over that-- including .081-- is driving under the influence (or driving while intoxicated, whatever Virginia calls it)...

So bottom line, .091 is driving drunk... period...

But hey, why don't you get Kurt to hire you as his lawyer, I'm sure the judge would be highly amused with your "he was just barely drunk, and he's a big guy" defense...

Well we know that Kurt has the mental makeup to be an exceptional athlete in a very hard business...if he can get the help he needs he can conquer this. Like someone posted the other day the hard thing is admitting & accepting that he has a problem & working on fixing himself. If it's to be "I was framed" then he is going down a very bad road & someone eventually will be hurt or even killed.

Dude.. he has problems. Its widely known. I love the guy and i think he's one of the top wrestlers of all time, real and fake wrestling, but he has some real problems right now that he needs to get help for. The business is tough and he's put his body on the line every night. You can't ask more from him as an athlete or an entertainer.. but it does take its toll and he's suffering right now. He needs help and when he makes mistakes like that, letting him go or pretending it didn't happen just isn't helping anyone.

Shawn Michaels and Flair are universally accepted as the top 2. Sorry you dont agree, but not everyone is required to agree with your OPINION. Sorry the majority doesnt seem to agree with you.

You really need to not share your wrestling views.

Just advice.

I "rate" wrestlers myself but it's all opinion...there is no universally accepted ratings. First of all the outcome is predetermined so you might have somebody who is a horrible in ring guy (Hogan comes to mind) but because he's charismatic he's "one of the best ever....to me a great wrestler is a hard *** in ring guy; one who is convincing...athletic...fun to watch. Taker is my long time favorite so TO ME he is the best of all time. I think Sting is an an all time great but that is IN MY UNIVERSE..
