I don't condone it in any way, but Rudolph taking umbrage with how he was taken down set the whole thing off. He was pushing at Garrett's helmet when they were on the ground and that caused him to lose it. And Rudolph then getting up and getting in his face again added to it even more. Again, in no way does it excuse what Garrett ultimately did, but there were several guys that handled things in a totally wrong way - Garrett, Rudolph, and Pouncey. He went nuts and started punching and kicking at Garrett too once he saw that helmet swing.

A whole lot of wrong involved in that fiasco.

I think the suspension is a no brainer......he's done for the season. Question is...how hard do they hit his wallet? First million dollar fine for a player? I think it's possible...

garrett shouldn't play again this year in any way. The league has completely changed the game to protect guys head and this lunatic just swung a helmet and hit a QUARTERBACK in the head on purpose.

He should not play again under any circumstance.

Something had to happen to make Garrett lose his mind like that. There is more here than what we saw. Someone said something. That's not a viable excuse for Garrett to do what he did but he didn't lose his mind like that for no reason at all.
