To be fair the game was only close because a Jets decided that instead of a TD he would rather just literally drop the ball outside of the endzone and hand it back to the Texans.

True but the point is that it was a close game at that point regardless of why

If they did score a TD though, it would not be talked about.

I think the story is going to be that Houston is in a lot of trouble. Usually when you see a good team lose to an inferior team its because the good team made a lot of dumb mistakes. However in this case the Jets made all the really dumb mistakes. The aforementioned drop of the ball, TWO personal foul penalties on 4th and 20+, and multiple other just bad penalties. The fact that Houston lost despite that is VERY concerning.
