I like it.

As a competitor this should spark Roy a little.

Ultimately, if that were to happen, I would wholeheartedly thank TO for the motivation.

TO is done. His ability to made those crossing routes into big gains, not so much anymore. He might as well be crayton or witten(who is the best te in fb btw) in creating yac..

TO is a wash up and a has been, he will not even be a starter in the NFL next year, probably will ride the bench in Oakland next year, coming in for JaMarcus Russell to over throw him or alligator arm a catch over the middle.

Meanwhile Roy Williams will be in the playoffs.

This thread is hilarious.

It also explains why ESPN gets away with the sensationalism they get away with. Hell, they don't just "get away" with it, they THRIVE on it.

Roy is a team player, and is doing about as good as TO is...
ill take the team player, our guys are doing fine replacing TOs production elsewhere.. you guys ever think, maybe romo has to force some balls to TO if he were here, and those balls don't get to austin?

Excellent point. I know we all hate hypotheticals, but I really think that if Owens was still with God's team, we would all know Miles Austin as the returner from the Seattle playoff game and the big grin - AND TO would have the same numbers as he does in Buffalo right now.

Actually, that's dumb for me to say Owens would have the same numbers no matter what team he's on. If he was still in Dallas, I think his decline would be evident but he'd still be producing. I almost want to feel bad for him burning out like this, especially in such a miserable city.

I rather have T.O. than R.W.

Yeah, we haven't been in the National press every day, day in and day out
with out owens saying stupid things. We haven't had a player blaming every thing or everybody around them for every thing.

I sure miss the divide in the locker room. Most of all I miss Romo trying to force the ball to those hands of stone and alligator arms that went with all of the above.
Yup, I miss the scum bag.

much poorer? really? theyre about the same, and miles is doing better then TO did here..

T.O. had far better production here than roy has so far and miles has yet to prove he can get it done consistantly.
don't get me wrong i'm happy that he's gone but theres no need to twist the facts to try and belittle the guy and the importance he had when he was here.

as for the actual comment i think it was said with tongue firmly in cheek to be honest and i don't really see a bad side for us fom it. if anything it should fire roy up to ensure he has better numbers than owens whether they're friends or not.

Well, Roy is on a much better team, with a much better QB, with a much better OLine and a much better running game. you'd think he would be doing better.

TO is playing in NFL exile right now.

Excellent point.

Sometimes I think people fail to understand just how important that is.

However, even though Roy Williams hasn't produced, I would rather have him then Terrell Owens.

Terrell Owens has divided at least 2 locker rooms and is without a doubt, on the downside of his career.

Besides, the only question everyone should be asking is, do we have a better record if Terrell Owens was still on the roster and I believe the answer is no.

Patrick Crayton has better numbers right now that Terrell Owens. He has 1 fewer catch, but more yds, better yds per catch and more tds.

It's time for two things:

1) Owens to shut his pie hole

2) Cowboy fans to quit giving a damn what he says.

wow. I thought I had read that wrong at first but nope... it was just as idiotic the 2nd time as it was the 1st

Good God man, do you seriously leave the house with that type of idiocy?

Miles Austin: 39 catches, 856 yards, 8 touchdowns
Terrell Owens: 235 catches, 3587 yards, 38 touchdowns

words cannot describe your idiocy.

I would just settle for number 2, that makes number one irrelevant.

Owens has similiar stats to Roy and roy missed 1 week AND the cowboys have had their bye already.

Enjoy your puny lead when you still can.
