TO interfered with on 2 pt conversion n/m *Merge*

The spiking call was also BS. He's never going to get the benefit of the doubt on stuff like this and it's his own doing. It still isn't right.
The spiking call was MAJOR B.S. He didn't spike the ball, he just tossed it a couple yards.

Pay attention the next time you watch an NFL game... this happens SEVERAL times per game, right in front of a zebra, and it is never called. But T.O. does it and it's a flag every time.

Only the blatant spikes have been called for other players.

There were a lot of odd ball calls tonight, TO's alledged spike and the funny non-forced out call on TO's catch made me try to explain it to my wife. I was that desparate. Kudos to the Bills for giving a very good try.

It is obvious, Owens doesn't get any calls.

It ain't just Owens. McBriar is going to have to get his leg bent 90 degrees the wrong way before the refs call a running into the kicker.

I agree that our punter has taken a lot of no-call hits. TO I expect to get a lot of BS calls.

Why is Roy still horsecollaring? Anyone got an idea on that?

I'm not so sure it was a horse collar, I'm pretty sure the rule says you have to pull the player down by the pads, on that particular play, he didn't pull, he just hung on.

They did a thing on NFL Network with that Pereirra guy (head of the NFL Officials). There was a play EXACTLY like that in the preseason where the refs called delay of game. Pereirra (sp?) himself said it was a bad call, and that loser defends his refs to the death most of the time.

It was a horrible call, but we scored a TD on that drive anyway so it didn't hurt us.

The ref was right on top of the play to boot....................Same ref who wouldn't call #81 being shoved out of bounds after a catch.

:hammer:

That play couldn't of been more obvious and easy for a ref to call. TO was EASILY forced out on that play.

Is he a stupid ******* or what? I am wondering the same thing.... :banghead:

I really hope that JJT or jen or even gac daddy mentions the non PI call on TO tomorrow. I don't expect to hear anything about it outside of Dallas but it should be mentioned in a bigger sphere of influence than just this message board.

What pissed me off was when Jaws, who was blatantly rooting for the Bills the whole game, had the balls to say the refs had brought their "A Game" and were calling a great game. That idiot is dead to me.

That was ABSOLUTELY face guarding. Period. End of Story.

HORRIBLE non-call by the ref. Thankfully it didn't cost us the W.

It was face guarding.

There are of course about 50 posts tonight that detail that face guarding is no longer a penalty.

Wasn't a horsecollar as he didn't grab the pads.

could have called Newman on that one for a helmet to helmet hit -- on a player who was out of bounds.

I wish you ignorant people (the ones that don't know the rule) would learn what you have to do to commit the "horse collar" rule.

It's more then just grabbing the collar. Learn the rule or please don't comment about it. I'm tired of reading posts complaining about it when most of the time it wasn't even a penalty.

Yeah could have been, but that missed call had no effect on the game.

Is that true? I know it's not a penalty in college, but I've never heard of the rule changing in the NFL.

Got a link to the rulebook itself stating that face guarding is now allowed?

Very poor game from the officials, and the men in the booth. I understand the magnitude of the game for the Bills - but it was border-line felatious. Side-note: Tony K is horrible. Really shows how good Madden and Michaels are when you watch ESPN's prime-time crew.

My eyes are definetly not getting younger but I thought I saw his pads ride back when Roy first grabed him.

To be honest Kornheiser is at his best when he is teamed with Wilbon IMO. Tony has never shined in the booth.
