Ok...faceguarding or not....

That was a PI.

The DB had his back totally to the play, he was clearly pushing TO before the ball arrived.

No question...PI.

The best part of it all is that the BSPNers who were openly rooting against the Cowboys (not really for the Bills, as Berman was) are deprived of showing the replays incessantly all week.

This week on ESPN Sportscenter, they'll replay three day old baseball games so they don't have to show the MNF highlights...

Or maybe they will talk about Dallas quite a bit like they do all the time. Why does everyone think ESPN slights the Cowboys? Did you not watch the Pre-game show which was pretty much the Dallas Cowboy channel. Not to mention they pimp us all the time. I'm not sure what you expect them to do short of letting Jerry buy ESPN and it be the Dallas Cowboy channel. Trust me ESPN does slight some teams, but Dallas is not one of them.

Is that true? I know it's not a penalty in college, but I've never heard of the rule changing in the NFL.

Got a link to the rulebook itself stating that face guarding is now allowed?

Rulebook? Why not read all the other posts on the topic?

Two things: I actually told my friends right before the play that I hope they don't go for the corner fade. Secondly, I agree, I thought there was interferrence, too.

I'm not so sure it was a horse collar, I'm pretty sure the rule says you have to pull the player down by the pads, on that particular play, he didn't pull, he just hung on.

Thats what I thought also. He has to yank him down by the pads and Roy didn't do that.
