Oh, and the Giants won because they knew how to run the ball and how to get it to their TO-type receiver when they needed to. But Burress wasn't complaining openly about getting the ball. At least he sucked it up for the "team" when he had to.

I'm still waiting for T.O. to do that. I guess I'll have to wait next year since Dallas won't be going to the playoffs and the T.O.-less Eagles with a wide receiver corps no where near the glitz and glitter of the Cowboys get a fat playoff check and another week to play.

TO didn't suck it up for the team when Parcells barely looked his way during the Seattle playoff game with Pete Hunter on him? You sound real stupid right now. You hate Terrell Owens and its showing. You need to get a life dude.

Desean Jackson is the real deal. Until he came around the Iggles passing game was still middle of the pack. Just sayin...

Regarding your earlier statement, I would hope they've done a lot more without TO there than they did with him since Chunky Soup boy ran him out of town in just one year.

I know it probably went wwwaaayyy over your head. But the point was this ... if half the Cowboys players want T.O. on their team yet they can't - with all their talent - get into the playoffs, who cares what they want?

They haven't proven anything so why should we take their word on team chemistry?

These were the same guys chirping that life would be easier under Coach Cupcake rather than Big Bill.

Yeah, they know what it takes to win.

And my point was the same team you have been sucking off "Eagles", half of their team wanted TO to stay too. So either way nobody cares what you think about TO the players he is corrupting seem to like him WHEREVER he goes.

It is spin you idiot, because you're taking one man's contributions to a team and diminishing them because of your bias. It's what (the only thing) you mediots are good at.

Apparently, we're also good at recognizing a pretender when we see it, i.e., the Dallas Cowboys.

If the goal is to get to a SB and have a chance to win one, he was on the team that made McNabb better and was a significant contributor to the team. And he came to play in the SB, while McChoke did not.

I know elementary logic is hard for you to understand. But, again, answer this question: What did T.O. do for the Eagles that the Eagles didn't do without T.O.?

Cmon. You can do it. You can answer the question.

The question is NOTHING!!!!

Let me break it down to you, AGAIN.

Without T.O. - NFC EAST DIVISION CHAMPIONS.

Without T.O. - NFC CHAMPIONSHIP, not once but twice.

Without T.O. - NFC CHAMPIONS.

With T.O. - NFC EAST DIVISION CHAMPIONS.

T.O. didn't put that team over the top.

The argument is about doing more with or without TO you fool. One player can make a difference, but a football TEAM is bigger than one player. Thus, one player can or can't destroy a team.

Thanks for proving my point. Mediot.

:lmao2:

Yes, the argument is doing more with or without T.O. So how much more did the Eagles do with T.O. than without?

Let's see ...

Eagles 2008 without T.O. = playoffs
Cowboys 2008 with T.O. = no playoffs.

Even an "idiot" can see that, which doesn't speak well of those who think they're not idiots.

:laugh1:

You're such an idiot tykedoe1.

What did a player do for a team that the team did without him? That's your argument without TO.

You can't even see how you just proved my point again.

Wow. Mediots get dumber everyday.

Hmm. That is the only year the Eagles went to the Super Bowl. Owens had one of his very best years. The Falcons couldn't throw the ball in that title game.

So?

The Eagles still went to the Super Bowl without T.O.

But if you're into stat collecting and think that's all that matters, then I guess you're happy with our 13-3 and one and done playoff game, and our 9-7 and exit from the playoff race.

While McNabb was puking with a chance to win the game, Owens had over 100 yards receiving, and the Eagles didn't get it to him enough. Plus, they didn't get him in the endzone.

First, I wasn't making this an issue of McNabb vs. T.O.

I said the Eagles didn't do anything with T.O. that they accomplished without him.

And so what if McNabb was puking. Who do you think threw the ball to T.O.?

Why didn't T.O. get into the endzone? If we're going to call McNabb on the carpet, why didn't Mr. ALL-WORLD take it to the house himself?

The Eagles fluked their way into the playoffs. They beat the Cowboys down, but they scored 3 points last week and won 2 games in the division. They won't last very long.

They didn't fluke their way into anything. They got to the playoffs like all teams do. They won the games they needed to win. And when the chips were down and they needed a win to get in, they did and the Cowboys didn't.

And so what if they won't last very long. They're end WITHOUT T.O. while we have T.O. his mouth and a cushy seat on the sofa watching the playoffs.

It would do you well to at least type in complete sentences if you're going to call someone an idiot.

It's really simple what I said, unless you can't grasp a basic concept like a question-and-answer inquiry.

I asked you what did the Eagles do/accomplish with T.O. that they didn't do/accomplish without him?

It's really, really, simple. If I ask my 10-year-old, he could probably answer it.

Oh, and believe me, if you're calling me an idiot, I take that as a HUGE compliment, given your grasp of issues and sentence structure. ;) :)

Don't blame me for your stupidity and your spin.

I don't care what you asked me you nincampoop. You set up an argument that is baseless in reality.

You are comparing what a team did or didn't do because of ONE player. Your argument is logically baseless in reality because it depends upon 52 other players on the team, the coaching staff, injuries during the season, etc., and so his contributions or his lack thereof due to him being a SINGLE player can't be compared to a TEAM full of other players.

Keep spinning boy. The merry go round is about to throw you off.

You don't even know what you're talking about, let alone how to address my point.

Whatever. We have T.O., and he hasn't done anything to take this team to where it wants to go.

So, right now, I'm correct and you're not.

Now, when this team wins a Super Bowl with Mr. LOVE ME SOME ME! with the same bunch of enablers, I will gladly apologize.

But the culture that T.O. embraces is not conducive to winning. And so far, I'm right because T.O. aint got a Super Bowl ring or his finger when teams with lesser talent than this team are sporting championship rings.

Now go suck some more from T.O.'s muscular teats. :D

T.O. was abusing the Patriots. They couldn't cover him, but the Eagles got away from him in that game. It proved costly.

Coming into the day, the Eagles had won one game within the division. The Bengals missed a field goal to beat them. They have a 9-6-1 record. Yeah, they deserved the game today, but they were extremely lucky to be in the playoffs.

They should never have made the playoffs. They can think Dallas for that, because Dallas' poor offensive and special teams play kept the Eagles alive.

Plus, the Raiders (5-11) won today, or they are out.

In my opinion, that is luck.

well it took the beagles a long time to recover to life without TO. i for one would not like for our window of opportunity to shut down that fast. i can live with the guy one more season. heck if cupcake is coming back, might as well bring all the clowns and the rest of the circus with him. i actually think that with proper coaching and a little luck regarding injuries this team can win it all.

Wwooo nincampoop. You're really stretching your vocabulary tonight aren't you.

I'm sorry if you can't see reality, much less your own contradiction. In an earlier post, you complimented T.O. for making the Eagles and McNabb better. But now it's one person CAN'T make a difference.

So much for your "logically baseless" retort. You guys really ought let go of terms you can't possibly understand much less use correctly.

One person CAN make a difference, especially when we're talking about attitudes.

Why do you think Cowboys fans want a Ray Lewis?

Why do you think Cowboys fans laud Michael Irvin's leadership or Troy Aikman's perfectionism?

It's because one man CAN make a difference on a team. And that man's leadership, attitude, work ethic, etc., can spread to a team.

Idiot? Please, at least understand basic concepts of human dynamics and human relationships before you call someone out. You clearly lead a sheltered life and really have little grasp of concepts and terms you so freely toss around. But I know how Internet debates work. You see a word or phrase repeated frequently and figure you'll use it in another debate because it sound so kewl. :D

Uhh...My argument isn't one man CAN'T make a difference you fool.

If you actually could read, since it double posted for some reason instead of editing, I clearly said that one man CAN make a difference.

I said the argument which you set up is baseless in reality due to other variables. Get a clue, learn how to read, and stop obfuscating with your useless verbiage.

Really?

T.O. left Philly in 2005. They didn't make the playoffs that year with all the turmoil on that squad, produced largely by T.O.

They made the playoffs the next year, even after McNabb injured himself. And - get this - won a playoff game against the Giants before losing to the Saints. This all WITHOUT T.O.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys made the playoffs in 2006, but they were won and done WITH T.O.

The Eagles didn't make the playoffs last year. But they were hot down the stretch. And they made the playoffs this year.

I think it's a stretch to say it took them a LONG TIME to recover without T.O.

It only took less than a year, and one could argue T.O.'s meltdown in Philly caused Philly to get off track for that season.

Why not have Romo...Witten...Ware....Newman be our leaders?

Let TO be our Haley.

Sorry....Im not a big fan of TO....but to me....he is one of the few who cares about winning on this team. Sure he complains....sure he acts it up on the sidelines. But he causes no problems off the field.....is a terrific worker in practice....and wants to win.......... So he wears his emotions on his sleeve....big deal.

I wish more on this team would do that.

Instead....we have players shrug off the lastest loss and ponder if football is that important.
