I love how they point to that week 17 game last year as evidence they can beat us.

Alright Washington fans if Dallas comes out tottaly un-inspired and you guys show up like its your superbowl, alas week 17, than you'll win.

But dont kid yourself. The fact you held Marion Barber to 6 yards rushing should prove how much we weren't into it. But I guess it was because of your bolstering defense :laugh2:

And some of our fans still think this is the Campo era teams, that will struggle agaisnt to poorest of teams.

Jason Campbell won the game for them. They were down in the 4th quarter and he busted off some nice plays. Granted it was Arizona, but the guy has won games form them this year.

Uhhh, no... Jason did win the Saints game for them, but in the last game, the Skins were given a gift of an interception (Torrence committed blatant pass interference) that Carlos Rogers returned deep into Cards territory, then Moss took a short pass and made a good play to punch it into the end zone...

After that, the biggest pass play the Skins had came when Cooley took another short pass and converted it into a 26 yarder right after the 2 minute warning... the rest of the offense was all running game... so Campbell was 3 for 4, for 52 yards, with a 5 yard sack, after that final, gift TD.... not bad, but hardly "winning the game" for them...

Oh, and it was 17-17 at the end of the 3rd quarter, the Skins were not down in the 4th...

Let's not be too quick to get out the anointing oil for Jason, who at this point in his career has exactly one come-from-behind win where he was the difference, that one the Saints game the week before (he WAS quite effective at the end of that one)...

I'm not worried about Campo era teams. I'm looking at a Cowboys team that had a hard time beating them here last year. Then, when it didn't matter to us, allowed ourselves to look like hammered crap heading into the playoffs in the final game against them.

And it was just a couple seasons ago that they were beating us down late in the year for a huge blow out.

Our recent history doesn't exactly scream blow out, to me, against these guys.

Washington's best players are all on offense, and that does not include their QB. Their defense is below grade and an average team can beat that group. So the easiest way for Dallas to beat them is to run the ball down their defense's throut to set up the play-action pass. Lomg, sustained drives with a few big plays mixed in will keep our offense on the field and thirs off of it. If that happens this will be a blowout.

A very good take, the Skins have their worst run defense in several years... the Boys ought to be able to pound it on them...

I saw a headline over on NFL.com, apparently Jason Taylor won't be able to play in the game (calf injury)... that might actually help make their run defense BETTER...

Our defense will hold them im confident of that.

They dont have Donovan McNabb on that team and its at Texas Stadium.

After Sunday I guarantee Commanders fans will respect our defense after calling it over rated the last 8 months.

Not to mention him throwing the game winning TD to Moss pretty late in the game against the Saints.

Campbell was something like 22/30 for like 250+ yards and 2 TDs yesterday. I'd hardly say he was just managing the game.

193 yards, actually...

Hey, I was the one who called the Packer blowout, telling everyone that the Pack were just like the Browns; but nobody wanted to listen and now we know that the Pack are like hte Browns, which is why we handled both teams mightily. As far as the Skins, they're nowhere near the Browns' and Packers' league, so to think we should blow them out, by controlling their putreid defense and keeping it on the field all game, is rahter reasonable. If the line is only giving away 10 points I'd still take Dallas.

Never underestimate rivalry games.

I expect the Cowboys to win, but I wouldn't be surprised if Washington pulls the upset. However, without Sean Taylor (RIP) and Jason Taylor, it's going to be difficult for the Skins' offense to keep up with the Cowboys' offense.

Wasn't "History" the reason given by all the mediots who picked Green Bay to beat Dallas; because Dallas could not win at Lambeau? So much for "recent history"; it will mean nothing once again and we will easily destroy this Commanders team. They simply are not in the same class as the other three NFC East teams.

Who cares about what the skins say? They say the samething all the time anyways. The same BS. I smell a blowout. Say 37-13 boys.

I love the NFC East rivalries.... I have no doubt that this game will be tougher than anyone thinks because these teams elevate their play everytime.

Slow down partner, JC was throwing the ball against a Saints D without their top 3 CB's that game. That would be like us playing without TNew, AH, and AJ. The Foreskins had to come from behind, at home, against a severely depleted Saints secondary. Just sayin!!!

To be sung to the the tune of hail to the Commanders:

Hail to the Commanders
Racist name of thee
With colors of pee yellow and suitcase burgundy
Losing is an art form we call our victory
We envy Dallas with all of our being
And hope that name calling will hide our crying shame
We are ripe with tradition
Mainly losing
But just like ***** we goose step on and keep on Hailing
Our biggest fans wear dresses
The problem is they're men
Try as we might this fact we cannot spin
Even here in Washington

I'm as big a Cowboys fan as there is, but I put a $500 bet on the Commanders +11.5 for this coming week.

No way do we beat them by more than 12 points.

Personally, I think it's time for Romo and the offense to have a flawless game, and this means disaster for the deads.

I won't predict the score, but let's just say that the old man will get to play QB while Romo and TO laughs it up on the side lines.
