Could've cut Randle (and still should btw) and had McFadden start the year until TG was healthy. After that Darren would've been a solid vet backup.

CM wouldn't have been needed. Not a hindsight kinda guy typically but, the front office has really botched the RB position badly.

He was picked 10th overall. We didnt pick that high. So . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . how should we have acquired him?

According to Cowboyszone we didn't need Gurley. We didn't need Peterson, or Chris Johnson and all of the backs in the draft were not any better than what we had in Randle.

Because as we all know to well.......

ANYONE CAN RUN BEHIND THIS LINE!

Or was that line? Not sure if Collins for Leary still applies.

Missing on Gurley was stupid enough, but even worse was not drafting Andrew Luck in 2012 when he was just sitting there for the taking at #1 overall. He'd have been a heck of a backup for Romo with this injury and they really botched that one not getting him. SMH @ our front office.

(Edit: two minutes too late to the joke)

Did you see the run game Sunday, or na?
We're averaging 4.5 YPC. Pretty good.
We didn't have a shot to get Gurley.
Chris Johnson is surprising everyone right now.
Everyone would've loved Peterson. But how are you getting him? I'll wait.
Randle has run fine this year. The run blocking finally looked Sunday. Stop whining.

Yeldon was the cat we could have got. I'd have liked him but CB need is too high going forward, thus we have Jones. Gurley is an emerging monster.

He's more so an idiot for not drafting Tom Brady in the 1st round.

That and running backs are almost meaningless in today's nfl. you can throw a dart at a sheet of rb.s in the 5th round and be fine

While the thread is pointless, there were quite a few posters in the draftzone who "just didn't see it" with Gurley and thought he was overrated. Bet they would already like a redo on that evaluation.

if someone said that they didn't watch him at Georgia. It was SUPER clear he was going to be a stud and head-and-shoulders above anyone else in that draft.

Hate to break it to you, but we are going to miss on Leonard Fournette as well.

Ironically, if Dallas had a first round pick in 2000 (which they did not due to the Joey Galloway trade), I could actually see Jerry reaching for a sixth round QB.

We should have grab Chris Johnson and McFadden and that would have been good enough. Lance Dunbar should have never been tender and Randle should have been traded or been a 3rd rb.
