Expected? We gave this boy a chance. He OWES us. He's a punk for putting himself before the Lombardi, before the team.
You can't be serious. Cousins owes the skins nothing. They drafted him to be RGIII's back up, and have never shown him any respect since the day he arrived. They started friggin Colt McCoy over Cousins for a few games. He has earned his spot as the skins starting QB, and if they don't want to pay him market value to play that position, somebody else will. Right now Cousins is laughing all the way to the bank. Franchise tag 2 years in a row? $45 mil guaranteed? No problem. You guys could have signed him to a 4 year deal last year for what it's gonna cost to franchise him 2 years in a row, and next year he'll sign somewhere else and get another $55 mil guaranteed while the skins start over at the QB position. If they're smart, the front office will swallow their pride and sign him to a long term deal before the July deadline. Of course, nobody has ever accused that organization of being smart. :)

So is it true the Commanders GM is back on the booze? Inscottwetrust or naw? His grandmother's funeral was on the 13th and he's not gonna be there for the combine

Something fishy is going on and only a Skins fan with rose colored glasses can say differently.

I wouldn't be so sure that he's back on the sauce mainly because I wonder about his relationship with Bruce Allen. Allen has a habit of getting into these strained relationships with coaches and other administrative people and getting himself to stick around while the other guys end up leaving.

It's tough to take joy in this because if he's back on the sauce, it's a bigger issue than my football fandom. OTOH, I've had friends who had battles with alcohol and I think people have used that against them when get sober. If the latter is true with the Skins, then Allen and Snyder deserve each other.

Who knows. Right now, no evidence whatsoever either for or against that speculation. Chris Russel and other loudmouth idiots are talking like there's an enormous divide between the FO and McCloughan, which doesn't make sense given we've been much more successful since he came on. Other "sources" our GM hasn't been benched, and that everything is fine. Allen and Scot may be butting heads, or maybe Scot may just be legitimately taking time off to mourn his grandmother. I'm not going to speculate.

It's safe to say Bruce Allen is polishing Snyder's knob now just as Vinny Cerrato used to, and just as Snyder polished the knobs of Clinton Portis and Robert Griffin III when they were here.
