Just saw this also. This news will dominate all NFL news for a few days.

I guess now we have to wonder if the 32 NFL team owners start to question Goodell's judgements and actions.

NEW YORK (AP) -- A federal judge deflated "Deflategate" Thursday, erasing New England quarterback Tom Brady's four-game suspension for a controversy that the NFL claimed threatened football's integrity.

U.S. District Judge Richard M. Berman said NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell went too far in affirming punishment of the Super Bowl winning quarterback. Brady has insisted he played no role in a conspiracy to deflate footballs below the allowable limit at last season's AFC championship game.

What, if any effect, would that have on what Hardy would do?

Or is he just going to take the 4 game suspension at this point?

Yeah was going to run and say the same. Wonder if Hardy will do the same now or is it too late.

Hardy suspension goes into effect immediately after tonight's game so yeah, it's too late. But the good news is Hardy can now look forward to sacking Brady.

No - Hardy should appeal now.

The season is upon us and the Courts aren't compelled to expedite these matters. Had he decided to allow the NFLPA to handle their business...Hardy would be back by game 3. Now, he may miss 4 games by the time Judge Doty overturns his suspension due to Goodell retroactively punishing Hardy. He would get his game checks reimbursed but our Cowboys won't get back the two games he missed.

Well i think. hardy's conviction being thrown out means no guilty verdict in the eyes of the law means no conduct detrimental to the league is pretty persuasive in my eyes

Nice to see that Federal Laws regarding fairness in arbitration trumps the CBA.

Berman's ruling essentially annihilates the notion that Wells gave anything that was even a remotely independent investigation (not that there was any question left on that matter).
