It's ALWAYS something with every individual. If you scrutinize everyone's daily lives they have warts. What if every little white lie that you told or every mean thing you said or every time you were late for work, etc, etc, etc was displayed on national television. It would likely appear that there is ALWAYS something wrong with you.
I hope the weather is nice up there on your high horse.
Here go the "you're criticizing TO therefore you must be self righteous" retorts.
While it is true that every individual has warts, it is not true that every individual flags down a camera and starts to tell the world about his warts, tries to one-up otherd in print and in the media and tries to draw extra attention to themselves by the way they practice, play and celebrate an accomplishment.
And that is why TO gets this type of treatment. TO seeks out the media as much as the media seeks out TO.
He complains about other teammates in the media.
He took the TD celebration to another level.
He seems to have this uncanny ability to share his problems in the national spotlight.
Therefore, he is going to get duly criticized when he messes up.
Furthermore, with respect to
THIS issue, no, not every player spits on another player. Emmitt didn't do it. Elway didn't do it. Favre didn't do it. LT (the current player) didn't do it.
So please spare me the "there's always something with everyone" line.
Not everyone is seeking the attention that TO seems to so desperately crave.
