That's what made the Jimmy Johnson era so refreshing. We gave people so many reasons to hate us (Jimmy guaranteeing a victory over the 49ers, Irvin's swagger, Emmitt taking his helmet off, Erik Williams abusing future HOFers, etc.), yet there wasn't a thing they could do about it. There's nothing like being hated. I remember the abuse I took in university when the 49ers beat us in the 1994 NFC Championship game. That only strengthened my love for the Cowboys.

I have a buddy who's a Browns fan. Nobody hates and/or cares about the Browns these days. I feel very sorry for him.

There is NO QUESTION ESPN (in particular, Berman) is anti-Cowboys. It's been ongoing for 15+ years.

In my 'Sarge' head, I take every comment by ESPN and Berman as a compliment and revel in it.

The more they jab us, the more I like it. The youngsters will catch on someday......

Sarge that is soooo funny.... one monday after a Cowboys win I could swear Berman did his WHOLE Schtick with the nicknames of his favorite players and teams wins... and then got to the Cowboys and quickly squeezed in "Cowboys win" then went on to the next team and back to his fun name routine....
