Yes, he is probably slated for the PS.

But is there ANYONE ELSE out there who when reading the cut list felt a sharp pain to the solar plexus?

He's a project, I know that. And could get by waivers.

But I still need to SCREAM AT THE TOP OF MY LUNGS JUST THIS ONCE:

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for letting me vent. ;)

Yeah it sucks, you can't help but root for the kid. Hopefully he is PS bound.

i too was rooting for this kid, if nothing else for his bates-esque approach to special teams.

I hope we get him on PS....but I'm elated we're keeping Ratliff and "Pepper" :)

PS bound. I guess the real question for him is what position he will play? You don't want to lose the hustle but you have to have a position.

Boy that was deep wasn't it?

I was rooting for him as an underdog but in truth I just didn't see the justification for keeping him. Sorry LTN I know you had a thing for him but I'm just not surprised.

That wasn't why he was cut. Parcells had issues with his tackling ability, there were too many times where he would get downfield and dive to the ground.

That's why I still have doubts that he will be brought back to the PS. I hope he catches on somewhere but I don't really look for him back here.

You are right about his tackling. He was trying to be a WR wasn't he? I don't think he showed anything at the position.

I've been thinking about who might wind up on the PS, as it happens...

Tom Crowder
Tony Curtis
Sean Ryan
Matt Tarullo

These guys would be right at the top of the list, I'd guess... probably one of the kickers worked out this week (Tyler Jones?)...

And from the list of players a few days earlier:

Chris Van Hoy
Reggie Love
Jamaica Rector
Reggie Harrell

This bites. Grrrrr....

So the question is, when can we start signing guys to the PS?

If and when he's brought back, I hope they keep him @ WR and not make the mistake of switching him back to safety.

Did I miss something with Crowder this preseason? Not being facetious, just wandering.

Speed, tremendous, light's out speed..best on the team..and a couple of high instinct aggressive st preseason games plays.

Bill may have critiqued his tackling, but that can be fixed.

I still think Tuna considers him 'a football player' , even if a project, and will try to get him on that ps.
