All 4. I loved Dickerson's straight up style with head barely moving. TD's, as I mentioned, seemed like a glide. Effortless at times.

He was already mentioned in post #38 or I would have brought him up.
 
These younger fans have no idea how good TD was. He was so fluid when he ran with that football. I wish TD the best in his battle for his health. Love ya TD.
 
Herm Edwards sure looked like a ladies man at 3:40.

As far as I remember, yes, .. he was a DB. #46 I think.

He was the one that picked up the fumble for the miracle at the Meadowlands, when the Giants fumbled while running out the clock.

The play that may have brought life to the "victory formation" kneel down.

He is the reason why I became a Cowboy fan. Great, great player. He could hit a hole as fast as any player who ever suited up, could cut at full speed, which was incredible. He also had one of the best spin moves I ever saw. Dorsett was as dangerous on screen passes as anyone who ever played. The fact that he was as durable as he was at 185 pounds is an amazing feat. Thanks for posting - this was a great watch.
 
Dorsett was indeed a "pretty" runner - ran effortlessly. The other running back that comes to mind in this regard is Eric Dickerson.

The fumble wasn't from the victory formation.

The Giants took a knee on first down. On second down, Joe Pisarcik went to hand the ball off to Larry Csonka, and botched the handoff. Edwards then ran the fumble in for a touchdown. If the Giants just took a knee, they would have won the game. It cost John McVay his head coaching job. It ended up better for McVay anyway, as Bill Walsh hired him to oversee the front office for the 49ers, and McVay ended up with five Super Bowl rings.

Another note: the Giants had been in a downward spiral since losing the 1963 NFL Championship Game to the Bears. It was after this game (in 1978) that a group of fans rented an airplane to carry a banner over the stadium. It read "Fifteen years of lousy football - we've had enough." The league then forced Wellington Mara (who was feuding with his nephew, Tim, who owned half of the team) to hire George Young.

Yes nice history lesson but I don't think w v cowboy said the play occurred from the victory formation ... He said that misplay gave birth to the kneel down . At least that what I read ..,,

Tony had a nice style, but Eric Dickerson was the best I've witnessed
