Don't get my talk wrong. Aikman was a good QB and a great dude. He got those rings with one OUTSTANDING RB who if anything IS underrated. Barry Sanders gets the cover of Madden. BLASPHEMY!

Aikman was overrated. It's my opinion and I am not the only one who holds it. The most touchdowns he ever threw in a season was 23! It's the only time he even escaped the teens. Seriously?!

He had a TD machine behind him! How many times did he throw to Irvin and get tackles inside the 1? I don't care if you and a few other fans carry your opinion. I will bet my life savings that the majority of the fans would agree with me.

There's a difference in believing in him and trashing a great QB this franchise was lucky to have who arguably put together one of the best decades a QB put together in terms of wins post season success and SB's and obviously the HOF agrees. I hate when other people out down another player to make their case.

He had one of if not the most prolific games in SB history. A much "lesser" QB? Man that's disrespectful sorry not a chance that a "lesser" QB makes those precision throws that Aikman made. Irvin would literally line up across from the DB and tell them what play they were running and to stop them. Trust me Irvin doesn't do that with a much "lesser" QB and lets not forget Aikman rarely ran shotgun he was that good. Smh

I NEVER EVEN BROUGHT IT UP! It was someone else. However, I am not a Troy Aikman ball sucker. Talk to me about Emmit or Irvin and then you'll get some praise.

You're the won arguing with someone whose "opinion doesn't matter." I stated waaaay back that it is "my opinion." You're defending it like your opinion matters more than anyone else here lol. It turned into I am "trashing" Aikman. I didn't trash him. I said he's overrated. Saying someone is overrated isn't saying they are not talented. We had arguably the best OL ever, The greatest running back in history and one of the greatest defenses ever.

Aikman was my hero. That's when I fell in love with the Dallas cowboys. Romo doesnt deserve to be in aikman's category. Frankly I think it's a slap in the face to Troy. He was the epitome of a winner.
