CHICAGO -- Tony Romo has been dealing with the effects of back surgery this past offseason and two transverse process fractures, and the Dallas Cowboys quarterback let it slip Thursday night that he also has been playing through a broken rib for the better part of two months.

Romo said he was not sure in which game he suffered the injury, either Sept. 21 against the St. Louis Rams or Oct. 5 against the New Orleans Saints.

I'm still skeptical about this story.

Just crazy.

When Romo is on, like last night, there's no doubt he's one of the best in the league.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that the ridiculous turn around between the Giants and Eagles games is the number 1 reason he (and the rest of the team, for that matter) looked poor on Thanksgiving. Romo has been ridiculously sharp otherwise. If he keeps playing like this we will be in the playoffs.

Find the post game interview (with Rich, Deion, Irvin and Faulk).

Tony mentions broken ribs in that interview. Question is...did he he mean this year or previous year. Thing is, in the article above he states he does not know ifit happened in the Saints or the Rams game so it would seem it was indeed this year.

Nobody has Ever questioned Romo's toughness, just his ability to play at a high level against superior teams....

True maybe for the offense. But our problems are on defense. This defense has looked like the 2013 version since the Giants game.

Clicks on thread where the topic is clearly Tony Romo. Reads thread. Makes post in thread which includes zero mention of Tony Romo but criticizes defense.

Good stuff.
