Elite QB's have been winning countless playoff games (Not Super Bowls though,) with incomplete teams. Romo needs a Top 5 defense so he can compete in the postseason though right, pfft...

Hahahaha top 5? Nobody said that. What an utterly ridiculous exaggeration. Romo isn't Geno Smith no matter how badly you want to believe he is.

We'd be a VERY tough out if we had a top 20 D, top 5 is a pipe dream with this roster. That's what happens when you have an elite offense led by an elite QB, which is exactly what Romo is.

Broken ribs can be extremely painful or not. I had broken ribs several years ago that I did not know I even had until a recent x-ray for a shoulder injury. So, read into it what you will. He can be going through an extreme amount of pain as it relates to the ribs, or none at all. Having said all that, there is no denying that he plays with a lot of pain (back) and is a pretty tough player.

This needs to be frame. The NERVE of people criticizing him because he doesn't want to take a vicious hit given all he's gone through and the injuries he's STILL playing with.

And most of the people complaining would be on workman's comp for a few weeks I'm sure.;)

Tony Romo is one of the toughest players in the NFL and nobody talks about it.

His toughness rating in Madden better be 99.

There are more people (not just here) that want to see Romo fail than succeed. This way they can say they have been right since Romos career began. The Romo hate is NFL fan wide. I don't understand it myself. There are plenty of players I appreciate on other teams in the sports I follow.
The only time I want them to fail is when they are playing the teams I love. Other than that they are fun to watch. If I wasn't a Cowboys fan I think Romo would still be fun to watch.

Broken ribs are serious.

It depends. I have had cracked ribs and not knew it. I broke two ribs falling off a roof and worked for a week before going to the doc.
It hurt but wasn't debilitating. A lot depends on the persons pain threshold.
Plus Romos healthcare plan is probably top notch if you get my drift.;)

I totally agree. I'm the same way. I think some people just like to be haters.

I love watching Peyton Manning. The guy is incredible. Same with Andrew Luck.

I will root for certain players that aren't Cowboys whenever they are playing anyone but the Cowboys.

If I was Jason Garret, next week's injury report with Romo would look like this.

- Hangnail on his pinkie
- Bruised toe
- Scratched leg
- Swollen pimple
- Head ache
- Tooth ache
- Stomach ache
- Sore arm
- Strained ear
- Pulled eye muscle
- Stuffed nose
- Broken Back

I'm sure they'll get the hint what you think of this injury list when you list 53 guys each having 20 'injuries'. Might as well just list every body part just to cover yourself. I mean for crying out loud this is football, so you know every player is banged up to some degree, especially in comparison to the average civilian.
