He only has a legit shot when the D isn't terrible. He beat Philly in Philly last year, guess that doesn't count?

No, it doesn't count because Philly was not above .500 when we played them and they have a different team this year.

I want everyone to remember this the next time you see tony duck down when the sack is inevitable. We are one hit away from weeden guiding our playoff run. Cowboys fans should never question his grit or toughness . He is a warrior.
I've never questioned his physical toughness.

Haha so it depends on their record at the time we face them, but where they end up is irrelevant? Interesting. Try to remember that next time he beats a 3-0 team that finishes 5-11. Just kidding, I'm sure the rules will change then.

Philly won the division last year and might win it again this year. They're a different team now and so are we. Not seeing your point.

Yes it does. I've been in a couple. They weren't anything terribly serious but I was sore and it sucked. So I can only imagine how it is for these guys on a daily basis with that grind.
Feels much better when you come home to a 100mil and a fine sweat heart. Not so much when you have to get up and go to your boring office gig the next day.

Everyone is so excited and I am too. We needed that win to keep pace with Philly. Chicago the 31st ranked pass offense, I'm glad we played against that. I'm glad we didn't have to face Marshall too. I'm glad we play better on the road especially to a team where the fans didn't show up, half empty stadium. I'm also glad they could not stop Murray all night long, or Randal. I'm happy about all those things.

So now here we are. We have Filthy coming up. Does anyone want to be a champion? step on up. And when/if we beat filth, then we have Indiancrapolis. So as I see it, if your intent is to go to the Super Bowl, you have to win 3 games in a Row (at minimum) once you're in the playoffs.

I don't give a rats butt what happens with the defense this time of year. Get ready to take this offense with all the #1 draft picks on it, and score every down if you have to. All resources are on that side of the ball so the offense needs to carry this team. In other words, you do WHATEVER you have to do to win. My stance is, Romo doesn't have the pedigree or the stomach for this type of pressure. He hasn't had it in the past, maybe he's developed it, we shall see. Personally, I would love to see him make me eat crow. I gave in this year to it, I won't do it again. Show me the money, show me a championship and I'm a believer.

Find the post game interview (with Rich, Deion, Irvin and Faulk).

Tony mentions broken ribs in that interview. Question is...did he he mean this year or previous year. Thing is, in the article above he states he does not know ifit happened in the Saints or the Rams game so it would seem it was indeed this year.

He would remember was more her point I think and agree. You don't break a rib and think back over time as to when it may have occurred. Morphine or not. You can barely sleep with that injury.

I am sure Romo is really concerned if you are a believer or not:laugh:

The cockroaches all came out after the Philly game for the first time all year. Now they'll scurry away to await another opportunity never admitting how well he's played this year despite the circumstances.

There were plenty of them posting on here last week.

Same could be said for our head coach....................you know, the guy the other thread is talking about is Coach Of The Year.

I completely agree with that and lol at him being coach of the year. He should have been fired a long time ago.

The 2006 Colts (9-0). We beat them.

2007 Packers (10-1). We beat them.

2009 Saints (13-0). We beat them.

Swept the 2009 Eagles, a playoff team.

Need more??

Yeah, a lot more. 2009 was a thousand years ago.

Points given up by our defense in 2013 losses:

16, 30, 51, 31, 49, 45, 37

2012 losses:

27, 34, 31, 29, 19, 38, 34, 28

2011 losses:

27, 34, 20, 34, 19, 37, 20, 31

Yeah and what did we average per loss? 10 points? 17? 24? Obviously not enough.....

lol @ the irony. That is what happens when you over pay vets on your team.

What happens? 9-4 happens?

Every single NFL QB needs help from their D in order to win big. I'm sorry you thought differently; you were wrong.

On the NFL Network the ticker at bottom of screen now says that Romo HAS INDEED been playing with a broken rib, apparently suffered in win against Seattle this year....Wow! Hadn't seen confirmation, only speculation....and when I heard interview recording I thought he meant in previous seasons as well......

Hmm. I seem to remember a really big hit at the beginning of that game that he took a bit to get up from. It wasn't long after that that we basically took over that game though. So, it didn't really seem to make a difference in his play.

Elite QB's have been winning countless playoff games (Not Super Bowls though,) with incomplete teams. Romo needs a Top 5 defense so he can compete in the postseason though right, pfft...
