Does anyone know where Romo ranks?

I bet he's #2 behind Peyton Manning and I haven't even looked it up.Michael88Irvin;1245312 said:in the NFL per NFL.com
Carson Palmer dropped to 4th @ 96.9 (with his "performance" tonight)
Romo is #1 @ 98.4

I think QB rating is a mostly useless stat. This is old fashion, but to me it's Did you Win or did you Lose.

percyhoward;1245918 said:Passer rating was developed as a way to include all the factors that make a great passer. It isn't perfect, it's just one way TD, INT, Comp %, and yards can be put together.
And it's just as accurate a measure of Romo in 2006 as it was of Staubach in 1971, '73, '78, and '79 when he won his passing titles.
MichaelWinicki;1245940 said:It is what it is... a "passer rating" as opposed to a "QB rating" which is much more ambiguous in nature. But generally speaking I like the ratings and think they are relatively accurate. When looking at the list from top to bottom I don't see anyone in the bottom 1/2 that I would consider to be a top QB.
Bledsoe lovers take note.

There's the perfect example. If we went by yardage alone, he'd be destined for the HOF. Just count the pro bowls, where the highest rated passers will generally end up each year anyway.MichaelWinicki;1245940 said:Bledsoe lovers take note.
