There is no question that Romo can still play ball. The big question is, how many hits can he take before he has another season ending injury? I wish Tony the best, but he's best suited as a backup now. I wish we could keep him but I understand why we won't.....

Romo is a true class act!!! Too bad he was hamstrung with bad a coach in his first few years as starter and coach who needed several years of OJT in his last few years. In a different situation, I truly believe he would have hoisted many Lombardi trophies.

Yep. He'll be on another team next year and we'll have to spend more on replacing him than we'll get from losing him. Fortunately, we're in good hands. But some team will get themselves an elite QB for 1-2 years and we won't get much in return.

With him show casing like that I think we may do alright.

Nobody looked happier for Tony Romo than Dak. #DallasCowboys

Dak is a class act. Montana and Favre would have been pouting.

He looked like the best QB in the NFL on that drive. TWill was sleeping on the first play and if Dez doesn't get held up on that deep ball that would have been an easy TD. Imagine how much he would open up the running game for Zeke. No knock on Dak, just praise for 9.

obviously a super small sample size but it really does make you wonder...

Romo's the best QB on the team. It was bittersweet to watch him go out and make it look so effortless. If we play the Giants, IMO, we have a much better chance with #9 behind center. Dak has been great, but Minnesota and NY made him look like a rookie who couldn't convert a 3rd down to save his life. I'd hate to watch that again when we have a healthy Romo available. The downfield passing threat that Romo presents to a defense, combined with Zeke's running, would have this offense scoring 30+ points/game IMO. Hopefully, Dak plays like he did vs Detroit because that was his best outing. If Dak faces a tough D like NY's, I hope he uses his legs more because that's what he offers over Romo.
