Hey I'm rooting for him but I tell you one thing this is a real test. GB is an unfriendly place to play. Honestly I don't think 1-2 is all that bad.

Not completely his fault by any means. A lot of issues with the playcalling back then. As Dom Capers said, he knew that if he kept blitzing the Cowboys wouldn't dare run and if they did start to run the ball, even if it wasn't that successful, he would have called off the blitzes due to the risk of the running back getting thru the blitz and making big yards.

It's really a test to see if Linehan is a better playcaller than Garrett.
