We have been blessed to have two hof qbs, and one possible hof qb to play for our franchise.
Bob Hayes, Calvin Hill, Lance Alworth and Walt Garrison were all pretty good athletes.
I don't see why fans have to prop up current players while also knocking down past players (or vice versa). How about we just appreciate that player for who he is and what he is. He's Tony Romo, and that's not a bad thing.
speaking as someone WHO WATCHED STAUBACH PLAY, you are full of crap
Ah, back when it was still cool for guys to like Bon Jovi. Thanks, Hostile.
Huh? I didn't knock down anyone. Aikman and the Dodger are without question some of the best QBs to ever play in the NFL.
Romo is more playmaker than Staubach or Aikman combined.
Not into really comparing them and drawing conclusions though. All three were/are great QBs. Ask Roger and Troy how they feel about Tony.
It was never cool to like Bon Jovi.
You are kidding me right?
A quote like that is what brought the responses it did. It was completely unnecessary and if you cant see how some take it as knocking those two down, I don't know what to tell you. Either that or you think Romo is the best thing ever to dawn pads and throw a football, since according to your quotes he more of a playmaker than two of "some of the best QB's ever to play in the NFL" combined.
It was never cool to like Bon Jovi.
This Romo love is immense, rightfully so. But as many plays Romo done I have seen him flop too. At the moment I see him as a Danny White until he bring home a ring. I disagree with the ones that say he did something with nothing. As i recall in 2007 we had 12 pro bowlers. And believe it or not our D then is better than it is now. Our oline was pretty good too. I can say in 2011& 2012 our roster seem a little suspect. But for the most part Romo has supporting cast
