Have to say this because it's an obbvious question:

I wonder if at least a couple (not all) of the long term detractors are bummed that we won today when Romo played lights out. Or maybe the ugly pick over ruled everything else and they ignored the 3 TDs, 70% passing, 300+ yards and the clutch plays.

Just curious.

Romo continually overcame penalties over and over. He makes plays that nobody else can make.

Romo is elite! This is not the first time he has shown this but you guys will never learn.

If you don't like Romo, go find another team, you don't deserve him!

I don't know who your 3 long term Romo bashers are, but it ain't me. Read the posts I've made in THIS thread. I like Romo. What I don't like are excuses. No excuses needed tonight. He played brilliantly. I still don't like him being out of touch with the play clock at times, and the pick wasn't a good one (they almost never are), but you look at the game as a whole and he played OUTSTANDING.

Great start to the year.

Troy Aikman doesn't win that game last night. No. Way. There are only a handful of quarterbacks in NFL history that can do what Romo did last night. And Tony made it look easy.

Romo was an absolute magician extending plays, buying time, and compensating for a line that was utterly dominated in all phases.
