Miscall at the goalline huh?lol It's never Tonys fault is it? It's not his fault that he went to Glenn on the goalline when TO was on the other side and a waayyyyyyyy better player after the catch. It's not his fault he went to Glenn instead of TO in the Giants playoff game because he just came back from 15 weeks off. Never Tony's fault though.

Did you even watch the game.? Third down, Romo hits Witten over the middle for a nice gain to about the Seattle 3 yard line or so. Measurement taken, 1st down missed by a couple inches, field goal tried, Romo botched the snap. Many thought the spot given to Witten was bad, that he in fact did have the 1st down. We then would have ran it in and won the game. Cant say myself if it was a bad spot or not...pretty close really.

If Romo leads this team to a playoff win. And yes, he will have to lead the team for them to win a playoff game. However whether he does or does not, he is but one member of a team. He is not playing multiple positions, he does not coach the team nor is he the president, gm and owner of the team.

The game is more than just one player, something you have argued to great lengths in your position of him vs manning.

Easily. If we win that Seattle game, and lets say lose the next game. Easy argument is that Seattle was not very good that year and had so many injuries (especially to the secondary) and we were expected to win.

It won't end until we win a super bowl with him at qb. And even then, I'm sure someone would find something to complain about.

Nobody can emulate his style but he is trying to emulate everyone elses.

He tried to improve his mechanics from 2007 and it may have put a leash on him.

I'll take a 2007 Tony Romo and love my odds of eventually getting to the Superbowl.

He only smiles when things are going well. Thing haven't been going so well for him this year. When you see him throw a pick and smile about it knowing he is going to still win the game then we can talk. He used to do that.

Oh, and for the record, Peyton's playoff games.

1999...16-19 loss to the Titans.

2000...17-23 loss to the Dolphins in Overtime.

2002...0-41 loss to the Jets. (This is the only one that fits your criteria of no help from his team.)

2003...He won 2 games before losing in the Championship. The "can't win" mantra shifted from "he can't win in the post season," to "he can't beat New England." This happened because New England eliminated the Colts in 2003 & 2004.

2005 he took a 14-2 team and lost 18-21 to the Steelers. Suddenly it was "he has all this talent and can't put it all together."

2006 he won the Super Bowl and beat the Patriots on the march to do it.

Romo is a very talented QB. I promise and I WILL bet money that he will find himself. I have no doubt that he will win us a playoff game and a superbowl one day.

Our best chances are behind him than with any other QB.

We are not going to get Tom Brady or Drew Brees and much less Peyton Manning, so suck it up and stand by our QB.

McGee and Kitna arent any better and deep down you know that. Any fan that has been through the Quincy years loves Tony Romo right now. If you dont, then youre still hurt over the past. Forget about the past and have hope right now just like you expect our team to have hope now. What if they gave up after every loss like all of you guys do....

You obviously don't understand a qb isn't going to do it by himself.

Its a team effort, if he doesn't win a playoff game, ill obviously think the team wasn't good enough to win in the playoffs.

Actually, I was just about to. It is a GREAT example of Romo the QB leading his team in the playoffs to a would-be win. It was the special teams breakdown that killed them...and Tony just so happend to be the holder. He led them down the field as QB in the clutch. He basically did the same thing in his other playoff game vs the Giants. Just goes to show that a QB cannot do it alone.
