I've said it before, Romo will win the Super Bowl, and there will be people that complain about the manner in which he hoisted the Lombardi Trophy.

Stilltheguru has been getting absolutely roasted.

If Romo leads this team to a playoff win. And yes, he will have to lead the team for them to win a playoff game. You think I'm going to come on here and say hes a failure?lol You didn't prove anything, so you are very much like Tony. Hope that strokes your ego some more. Get the job done and it doesn't matter what I think. I'm not even asking for a Super bowl or an NFC Championship. I'll settle for a playoff win. Too much to ask from Mr 67 mil?

i absolutely believe that you and a handful of others will do that very thing....

I wont... Ill give him his credit.

He will probably be 34 when that happens so hopefully drafts a QB who will be ready shortly thereafter he retires "on top".

Lol. Question for you sir. If the Cowboys dont win a playoff game this year what will you say about Mr. Romo? I dont want to hear any caveats or pending circumstances. Just what your thoughts will be of one Tony Romo. Because it seems to me that regardless of what he does people have to put a spin on it and baby him. Like hes not a 67 million dollar guy.

This has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that he's still only been a starter for 3 and half years. That's still a baby for a NFL starting QB..

Did you even watch the game.? Third down, Romo hits Witten over the middle for a nice gain to about the Seattle 3 yard line or so. Measurement taken, 1st down missed by a couple inches, field goal tried, Romo botched the snap. Many thought the spot given to Witten was bad, that he in fact did have the 1st down. We then would have ran it in and won the game. Cant say myself if it was a bad spot or not...pretty close really.

What you guys are forgetting is that he was given a first down. A booth review overturned the spot.

What still kills me to this day is that there was no good angle on the replay. One of the rules of thumb for replay as I've always believed it to be was that you needed CONCLUSIVE evidence to overturn a call or in this case a spot.
There was no conclusive evidence in the replay. It's why you, I and everyone else who say the game couldn't say for certain where the ball should have been spotted.

Yet the booth called down on it's own I believe (within 2 mins) for a review. And then arbitrarily overturn the spot with CLEAR EVIDENCE.

What really pisses me off is that it mostly want unnoticed because Romo's bobbled hold became the story.
