What is the true differences?

1. Tony 6'2" 230lbs

2. Danny 6'2" 199lbs

3. Tony 12 years 2003 to present.

4.Danny 1976 to 1989 (12 years)

5. Tony 29,565 yards passing

6. Danny 21,959 yards passing

7. Tony 208 to 101.... TD to int (Even though he is mister turn over)

8. Danny 155 to 132 TD to int

9. Tony 95.8 Passer rating all time

10. Danny 81.7 rating all time

Argue size ,verses running league then verses Passer league now verses no championships equals...are these two the same person a generation apart?

I will say,,i think Tony has what it takes "If" he has parts around him...I hope old boy gets a shot , at 34 he better get after it.

i hated the Danny white years...i was spoiled early on. Roger...White.....Troy....Tony.......Will tony break the cycle or will it take new blood?

I know.....Booooooooo!

Tony - Coached by Garrett during peak years of career

Danny - Coached by Tom Landry entire career

Any comparison between ANY Cowboys current player and one from that era starts and stops there IMO.

Interesting point. Wonder how ol' Tom would've handled Tony.

Danny of course, it takes more than a defense to take you to multiple nfc championships. Danny did his part and played well within his scheme. Romo could do better if he didn't feel like him and Witten had to be the show. I love that old Romo 2006 and 2007.

CowboysZone LOYAL Fan
I have been told from an older Cowboys fan who has seen both QBs at their best and worst, that White was great as long as the play did NOT break down, no improvisational skills. I should also say, that the same person is NOT a Romo fan.

Danny also did not have the influx of players there was no FA, Dallas still had a quality defense as well as offense. Comparing wins and loses without comparing the overall product is usless. When QB start blocking for themselfs, catching their own passes, playing defense then maybe you can look at the win/loss until then it takes others to win games.

nonsense! he would've alternated him with Drew Bledsoe every other play. Or perhaps only put Drew in when the 4th qtr started.
