You dislike me only because you get constantly owned.

It is guys like this one that sicken me, he started all this by saying he hates RW because of he is not a good player and all he does is horse-collar others.

you are the type of that will eventually, if not right now, say that fair catch is a good rule, and that you shouldn't touch the QBs, and thrwo roughing the passer flags like fireworks on the 4th of July when you barely touch the QB.

Horse collar was a legal and should have stayed legal. What is football going to come down to, flags at the end I guess. I am so sick and tired of these new rules trying to put more points on the board and more long TDs so the fans at the stadium and at home feel better so they can sell more tickets and more TV time.

Football is contact sport and a violent one, now the owners and the league have turned it into a sport that is suitable for kids to watch because that will make them more money.

now a Philly fan comes into a Cowboys forum to talk trash about RW, you have to be a stupid low life(may be no life) loser to have nothing else to do but to come in here and make such comments. If Dallas fans wanted to hear someone trash their players...they could've gone to the Commanders, Giants, PHilly, 49ers, Steelers...etc forums. GET A LIFE

Im sorry guys but you cant relate today's society double standards with how LJ personally feels.

Me myself being african american and growing up in north philadelphia where we have like one of the top 5 homicide rates in the country and passing almost 400 homicides this year and 85% of that are black males between ages 17-25.

I would also feel more comfortable under a black coach who had to face the adversity of being a young black male trying to be sucessful in the world, where lets be honset people in this country especially in the inner city as a young black male the odds are heavily favored against you.

So if he's saying that he would rather play under a coach like a marvin lewis or lovie smith who probably had to endure the hard problems in the 60's and 70's with racism compared to LJ's world of violence and poverty then I would say in my opinion its nothing wrong with that.

To be honest with you i wouldnt doubt it that the black coaches in the league agrees with LJ.

all the trouble it took just for them to be considered for NFL head coaching jobs is rediculous. To me that rule is so humiliating an owner knows who they want so why waste some of these guys time?

I'll admit that by getting that consideration, it does help some of these guys get notcied, but I remember a few coaches said it was disrespectful.

I just think that it all goes off of perception like when larry bird made the comment about the black athelete is the best athelete and he found it disrespectful when teams would make a white guy defend him.

That comment like this one was blown out of contex and doesn't deserve this much attention.

People have to understand that atheletes have opinions, and are human beings just like us.

As long as you arent downing or disrespecting someone else race, sex religion, or sexuality. It shouldnt be that big of a deal.

RoyW, I am from NP also, and while I'm not mad nor disagreeing with LJ's comments, I just think a little forethought with his words would have been wise in this situation. Hell I would like to work for a black man myself, but does that mean I would respect my white boss any less? His comments put out a vibe that is not shared by too many players in the league. I'm sure most of them would like to play for a black coach as well. Given that a majority of the league is black, that's not far fetched, but you can't pick and choose every situation in life, and I think most players just want to play for a winner. If it was so easy to play for a black coach, explain AI's and the Sixers utter disrespect for Mo Cheeks.

1. Mike Vick-----Im a saints fan so thats a given.......
2. TO--- Not sure he was worth all the drama even when he was an elite receiver, which he no longer is IMO
3. Eli Manning--- Refusing to play for the chargers was inexcusable IMO. I almost hope we see san diego beat the snot out of NY in a superbowl one day
