Top Ten Most Incompetent Front Offices in the NFL

Reminds of the great James Bond, Carly Simon song:
Nobody does it better.
Makes me feel sad for the rest.
Nobody does it half as good,
Jerruh, you're the best.

Setting new standards for winning.

Jets Giants Carolina Atlanta Jax Tenn Indy Miami Arizona Chicago ….I don’t see Dallas in this waste dump territory ….yet .

Yeah but doesn't MSN know that we are doings things SO DIFFERENTLY now in free agency!

I've read here that Jerry is now signing the "has beens" and busts sooner in free agency rather than later......and that's somehow supposed to yield different results.

What a circus!
Those "names" look good on back of jerseys though & give media another reason to keep them & the cowboys on their tongues.

Dallas had a more talented roster than some other teams that made the playoffs last year. They might not be the eagles but they were definitely in the upper third of the league and at worst the upper half. Their issues are organizational, injuries, and quarterback.
We weren't more talented than any NFC playoff team from last year.
  • Detroit Lions (15-2)
  • Philadelphia Eagles (14-3)
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers (10-7)
  • Los Angeles Rams (10-7)
  • Minnesota Vikings (14-3)
  • Washington Commanders (12-5)
  • Green Bay Packers (11-6)
I could perhaps make the argument that we were more talented than one or two AFC playoff teams but I don't think it's clear cut.
  • Kansas City Chiefs (15-2)
  • Buffalo Bills (13-4)
  • Baltimore Ravens (12-5)
  • Houston Texans (10-7)
  • Los Angeles Chargers (11-6)
  • Pittsburgh Steelers (10-7)
  • Denver Broncos (10-7)
Fourteen teams made the playoffs. So even if we decided that we were the 13th most talented team, that's not really much of a claim. You really need to be a top 10 team & I would argue top 8 (since that would be the top 1/4 of teams) to start talking about being significantly more talented than the rest of the league.

Meh. As usual, w/ Jerry built teams there were gaping holes. The 2016 team, best one he had, severely lacked disruptive players on the DLine. You're quite simply not going to beat playoff caliber QBs w/ that lack of disruption.

And then we went to drafting stupidly, just as we always do. GM derailing the team again.

Were the least competent front office but prior to last years injury debacle we went 12-5 3x. Still pick 12th in what was our worst year imaginable. Yes we need to do more but the media acts like we’re the browns or giants it’s comical.

Drafting Kelvin/Schooner/Mazi/Sam Williams when we're on the cusp screams incompetence.

Yah those picks are haunting us but we also made a few incredible picks prior to last 2 years you can’t ignore that. We also found gems in Turpin and Aubrey. Not blindly defending them they deserve criticism for not being proactive enough but we’re far from the worst front office more like middle of the pack. We get overly criticized for click bait it’s hard to watch espn or anything anymore.

Prior to the last 2 years it was Trysten Hill, Taco, Sam Williams, Kelvin Joseph.

We keep leaving gaping holes on our team w/ very strange draft picks. And the bigger elephant, is who we don't draft. We are quite simply looking at the wrong things.

I thought the same at the time, but looking back, there was never enough invested in the defensive line. One elite rusher isn’t enough. Need depth and also some quality inside.

They still don’t get that and never will, meanwhile right in front of everyone’s eyes, DTs are dominating in late January/early February and beating QBs in the GOAT conversation that way. Brady and Mahomes each lost two SBs when they were heavily pressured with four rushing.

But hey, Jerry loves his corners and receivers, and going against the old cliche of building from the inside out. It’s worked well for him. Just ask him. No one is better than him.

I feel like all these national publications have just recently discovered the problem in Dallas. Jerry is getting way more bad press and national criticism this offseason than I can ever recall.
