Rocco pulled(?) it left..... he's in some trouble. Tiger's third shot will be a 20' putt from below the hole....

Rocco's third shot is going to need to be pitched onto the green from by the grandstand.

Tiger, if he makes this putt, wins the Open. If he misses, likely taps it in, and Rocco needs to make the 20' for a playoff.

He didn't choke.

He was down 3 with 8 holes to go. He overcame that.


And the last hole, I guess you could say maybe he choked on his t-shot, but, ehh.... he had missed on that hole earlier too.

The putt was a 20' with right to left break; he made a very good effort on it and nearly holed it.

He store down the beast and fought back. It wasn't a choke job. His best just couldn't beat Tiger.

I tip my hat to Tocco Mediate. He played outstanding to come from 3 back at the 10th and push the world's best golfer past 18 holes today. I doubt anyone can come from 3 back of Tiger to actually take a lead.

That was amazing, the most exciting golf has been in years. I give a lot of credit to Rocco, he played his heart out, but even more to Tiger for doing that as soon after surgery as he did.
