Is the goal to remain competitive or to win a Super Bowl?

For fans, win a SB. For most owners I think it is to remain competitive and relevant. You can see the difference by what they do in the offseason. Look at what GB has done compared to the Eagles or Rams. You can see that the Eagles and Rams are actively pursuing a championship. Green Bay is lucky to have Rodgers, and that's why they make a lot of deep playoff runs. Philly is unlucky to have Hurts. It's not just the Eagles and Rams, there are a few others.

You don't pay Kyler Murray to win a championship. If it happens, great, but the intent is to remain competitive, and hopefully bring in some playoff appearance money.

The ultimate goal is win a SB but the immediate priority is to remain competitive or in Jethro’s words “ relative and interesting”.

He can hype and promote the hell out competitive, driving revenue. Unfortunately he’s only interested in winning his way remaining the face of the franchise.
