Fisher would be nice but he's been spoiled by his previous contract, which was in the 9 mil range.

Seems like It wouldn't hurt to get in touch with his agent to find out, though. He'd be a quality get.

Maybe a serviceable tackle or two will be released this weekend in final cuts from another team that the Boys can sign...... maybe.

was listening to Broaddus and the gang, they were saying we could be interested in the ex eagle player who is with Bears even at 40 years old.
not interested in Fisher or Williams as they are at the end of the line in their careers.

Winn from NE will require draft capital and a contract around 10 million plus they viewed him as a guard coming out of college.

take that for what it’s worth

The cost to the Cowboys is only about 1M for 2022. The Texans would have to eat the remainder of the cost due to how it is structured.

The Cowboys would have the option to keep him in 2023 for 18M.

It would be worth a 3rd.
And that's exactly why they wouldn't do the trade for only a 3rd.

Solid tackle for basically 2 years 19 million for the team that gets him (which is a steal) while Houston loses a high level starter and has to eat 34 million dollars of dead cap.

I would imagine if they realistically wanted to trade him (not "where not interested but if you give us this stupid amount of course we'll take it") but an actual legtimate trade interest they would want at least a 2nd and a 4th (maybe even swap the 4th for a comp 3rd)

I'd throw a 2nd at Houston for Tunsil. We usually throw our 2nd round picks away anyway so why not use a 2nd rounder on an established player.
Yeah i'd say a 2nd and a 4th or a 2nd and a prospect player would be realistically what it would take for Houston to even entertain the idea of trading him

I just noticed.......think he was Dak's college teammate. I like this option, he's only 28, and has played LT and LG.

For a 3rd I do it in a heartbeat
You get a couple years to decide if you want him longer term or move on. And the cost if not bad at all
A mil this year and if you move on from smith it’s around 4 mil net next year
Kind of a no brainer

We needed a vet tackle at swing before Tyron’s injury
Now we need a starter
Looks like a few teams are looking at Wynn if rumors are true
The thing about him is you either have to pay him or give up a pick for a one year rental
Tunail seems like a good option but at what cost
The problem with Wynn is his size. This coaching staff want tall, long tackles. In their eyes someone like Wynn is an OG.

Yeah, nothing like trading from a position of power.

Do nothing and draft your new LT next year

So whom would be trade candidates at LT for Dallas.

Dillard from Philly - has had problem and GM loves to fleece teams especially Dallas

Leatherwood from Vegas - just don't see him as a decent LT or OG for that matter

Tunsil from Houston - Texans would like to move on from him especially with cap hit of $35 mill in 2023

Backup LT in Green Bay - looks to be a nice find but GB will want to much

If we could get Tunsil for a 3rd and a player or two then he would be best bet because he is a very good LT and only 28. Could really solve a problem quickly.

The answer is Issac Alarcon.:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

So interested a 40 year old Jason Peters who plays guard now but wants to be paid like a tackle and sucks in pass protection.

But pass on two better players who can actually can play tackle?
