Trade Chaz green for a 3rd or 4th rounder

Don't be surprised if he makes the team as the 8th or 9th OL.
I would be surprised and petrified for Dak. I heard Dak had a special clause put in his contract after the Atlanta game. If Chaz Green is in a future game and Dak gets sacked. Dak gets to throw the ball at Garrett’s midsection(Garrett’s eyes closed) from 5 yards and yell, “Duck”.

People forget this, but he actually played well in 2016, including a couple of starts. Obviously the Atlanta game was disaster last year, but fans like to claim they had foresight that Green would be a disaster when it is actually hindsight they are relying on. His performance in 2016 suggested he was a very solid backup.

As for what this means for 2018 is anyone's guess. The Cowboys have to decide if the Atlanta game was an anomaly, although that's going to be hard because of how horribly bad it was, or if he is really the player he showed in 2016. If Green were to make the team, the good news is that Flemming will be the first option off the bench if needed at OT, and Green would only be an emergency in case 2 OTs got hurt.
A bad game is one thing, an all time worst game in the history of the NFL, is another. That’s what Chaz had vs Atlanta. Garrett helped Chaz have that record setting game too.

It isn't based on hope or potential. You keep him around based on 2016. He stepped in for Doug Free that year and the offense didn't miss a beat. He stepped in for Tyron Smith that year and the offense didn't miss a beat.

If he wasn't NFL caliber, he would have failed in those opportunities like other poor tackles we've had in the past. For some reason, he did fail this past season. We need to find out which player he is.

I don't understand why some of you ignore his play in 2016 instead of looking at the complete picture. If he can't refind that form, then we don't need to keep him because he won't be able to help us even if there is an injury. If a new coach helps him to regain it, then he's good, cheap depth when he's healthy.

I'm for letting it play out. We're not going to get much (probably not anything) for him right now based on how he played last year because he has to prove that's not who he is. Luckily, the team understands you need more than one capable backup and is letting its line coach figure out if Green can be one of those players again.
He doesn’t deserve another chance after the Atlanta fiasco, but then again neither does Garrett. But Garrett knows people in high places.

Absolutely not.

Funions have value.

We are talking plain Sun Chip territory here.

Lol... There's a time of night... now maybe... where either chip has value. But you still have to
wake up in the morning able to respect your decisions from the night before.

Most any knock off brand may be on the table, but Lays, Utz, Doritos, Tostitos and Cheetos
are off the table unless we sweeten the deal.

Funions are legitimate.

Ok. Ok. Let's try a get you some Funions. Get Jerry or Stephen to declare our demands.
A regular bag of Funions for Chaz Green.... but we'll settle for Sun Chips... lol
No. Sun Chips are what you do to appease tree huggers or insult a normal person. They are impossible to be used as a proper negotiation tool in terms of the chip trade.

Well Einstein, that will be their counter offer. Sun Chips. So, grab a grape soda to wash them down
because that's all we're going to get for Green.

People actually drink grape soda any more?

Well how about that.
