Well I wouldn't let that deter you, such an amazong show and while the last season had some ups and downs it also has some of the best episodes.

Watch it, you wont regret it....unfortunately cant say that about cowboys games as of late!

NP. Yeah the guy was highly productive at TCU. A dog. Sure tackler and led that front 7. He was a steal for San Francisco. Started a bunch and had over 100 tackles in 2025. Hes only 25. That's the best part. CP can mold him. Plug and play.Huge upgrade over anyone in our linebacker room instantly. All for a a 5th? Not too shabby. Wouldn't be shocked if we drafted another linebacker today. I want Bryce Boettecker. Rangy mike linebacker. Can play any linebacker position.
 
Cowboys made this trade to throw off other teams for 60 picks so they could select Barham. 31 owners playing checkers, Jerry playing chess. Someone had to step in for the late great Chuck Norris, RIP.

While you are being funny, the reality is they did it in the 2nd round to compensate for not having a 2nd round pick...if Jerry is anything hes a marketer and by having the trade go at the time it did, he got his fair share of headlines

Ending was ok but the last season felt very rushed. Like they all of the sudden decided to end it right before production. Great show tho
 
To those wondering why the 49ers let Winters go for just a 5th round pick:

-Winters is entering the last year of his contract
-Fred Warner is returning from injury
-They signed Dre Greenlaw back after he left for one year in free agency

This would have pushed Winters back into a rotational role as most teams employ just two LBs in their base defense. In Dallas Winters gets an immediate chance to start while the 49ers already used the pick sent to them to move up in the draft.
 
This guy played 17 games in place of was it green law that they lost over injury He so that means he's healthy and consistent a guy like Hitchens that played very well here and that was very undervalued he may not be that dog starter that you're looking for but he can play linebacker and he looks to be a very solid consistent player that fills a need right now while we wait on a young player or somebody to take his place which we will probably draft today or we'll pick up another guy off the free agent list like Okareke or Wagner but I think they're gonna go with veterans and the kid we just drafted from Michigan can play linebacker he's not really just an edge and I believe they'll use him like an edge..

But the San Francisco 49ers are a pretty damn good team for the most part he played all 17 games last year for them at linebacker so I hope we don't have a lot of complaints here we're just looking for consistency at that position and from what I'm saying it's an upgrade over what we had last year..

Likely starts for us. Has the speed to cover.

His cap hit is 3.6M for 2026.

Probably the reason he was traded?

He’s UFA after this season.
