Meh..Ware doesnt need another pass rusher he needs to become a more well rounded player. If all we needed was pass rush we can put Butler on the other side. It doesn't work thay way. What we need is another Spencer not a sack specialist.

More well rounded??? The guy has the most sacks in the whole league in the last 5 seasons. He is as durable as they come and consistent. You stating that he does not need another pass rusher is laughable and he cops double teams and holds all day long and still puts up monster sack stats every year. Ware is the first player opposition teams look at stopping when playing us and he gets the best OL the opposition has and more than 1 to.

Hate to see what we would look like with Ware not out there.

What more do you want from him? Gee he can't do everything but i am sure backing up in the secondary maybe coming in combination with a special teams position just so he becomes " More well rounded ".

i'm all for Ware if we could get a 1st or high 2nd for him and still handle the cap implications. I also feel our D would be fine if our DC was worth anything and didnt act like it was the first time he'd seen the other team play football the first half of every game. And I think a good DC can be fine without a bunch of elite players...look what Haslett did to us...he has mostly garbage on his D, his best and nearly only player, Orakpo, has been out most of the year while their second best player, Kerrigan, has been in and out, yet he still stymied and intercepted our offense twice this season.

I LOOOOVVVVEEEEE Ware, but really, he is the only player you could trade and get something good in return. The problem is that Jerry would squander the picks that you would get for him.
