Draft multiple people with 2+ first round picks. Solidify the OLine. Add a legit DT, LB and maybe Derick Henry as free agents.
So we're getting multiple 1's for Dak?

COOL!

We can package those multiple first round picks and trade them for Kirk Cousins.

Because another team giving US multiple firsts for Dak., makes as much sense as us giving multiple firsts for Kirk C.

That is, unless we're just talking Madden here (which even in Madden you'd have to use the Force Trade Option to get another team to give you multiple 1sts for playoff choke artist Dak)

Heeerrreee we go!!!!!!

Kirk Cousins is retired.

Unfortunately, we will never know, as I don't see Jerry being smart enough to even attempt to trade Dak.

A post June 1st trade would save 34
Why? Do you really think Stephen is going to spend that money in free agency to rebuild the defense or anything else?
It will never happen. Fans need to stop worrying about the salary cap; it means nothing. The only teams that care about the salary cap are those who aren't winning. When winning, they all find ways to buy whatever and whomever they want. It's just an excuse when things don't go well.

Not actually true.

Teams are required to spend at least 95% of the cap based on a multi-year running average.

A team's cap spending can be (effectively) larger or smaller in a given year but it has to average out over multiple years.

If a team has 100M of cap space, do they hire 10 players at 10M each or 4 players at 25M each, etc..

The Cowboys generally spend the big dollars to re-sign their own players while spending low on external free agents.

All teams have to determine that balance between external free agents vs re-signing their own.

It has to average out when all years are considered.

Jeruh does not get jersey sales that way. He wants to play hero ball and the 2 to 4 players that get 50+% of the cap have to win the game by themselves. Then they all 4 turn on each other, because it can't be their fault, they all have been told how great they are.

The biggest problem with Lance is durability. He’s been hurt several times playing that way.
That is what happens when you are an athlete first and a QB second. Look at Hurts and now Jackson, Kaepernick. I think Mike Vick was probably the best at it.

You have to be a QB first in the NFL. It may work in college. It maybe exciting and win some games in the NFL, but baying 25% of your salary to running QB is very risky.

Greatest QB of all time had zero mobility.

1 year at 29M for a consistent 12 game per season winner.

Many GMs and Head Coaches can keep there jobs several more years with 12 wins per season.
They Can have him. We will never win with him…
