If you want a Super Bowl caliber RDT for a 4-3 D you make a move for Ed Oliver jr. At least try. We were 1 pick from Donald and passed on JJ Wyatt. You better get a difference maker on the DL like Johnson traded for Maryland.

I would trade Lawrence, Jones, Lee, anyone of our 1 year CBs, any one of our WRs not named Gallop or Cooper, and all our safeties for Ed Oliver Jr. I can then fill out the roster through the draft and remaining good free agents available because Oliver will be on a rookie cap for 5 years.

What would it take to get into the top 5-10 from our current position without a 1st round pick this year? You're basically offering up a Herschel Walker trade.

Yea, I agree, Mack is the better player... but to refer to your previous post, the knowledge that one team refuses to pay the player what he’s asking doesn’t necessarily drive the price down, or become your used shoes. If someone has the cap and needs Tank’s services, I can see a 1st or 2nd round trade for him. Not a 4th, that’s silly.

It's really not that silly. They not only have to need his services, but need them this year. Or else they can just wait until next season and not give up any picks for him. Because Tank might just pull a Bell and we'll get nothing for him.
