Switzer didn’t show much as a receiver and other than one good return he didn’t do much as a returner. He was taking too many chances on returns from deep in the end zone, not even getting to the 20 yard line.

Honestly, once they traded for Austin I Figured Switzer was on the block.

I liked Switzer but Austin is a better returner. And this means Beasley stays which is absolutely fine by me.

Switzer was a wasted pick from day 1...I haven’t seen enough of Ward to know whether this is a good trade or not, but there’s a really good chance that Ward plays more meaningful snaps than Switzer ever would have

I think Switzer has some skills as a return guy and out of the slot. Right system and he can contribute. He was blocker here by Beasley. And now Hurns and Austin.

Trade a luxury for a position of need.

Marinelli was really high on Ward before the 2016 draft. Raiders drafted him in the 2nd round.

Austin is a more explosive version of Switzer. The rare trade that makes sense for everyone.
