My only criticism after this weekend is that we are incredibly deep at WR and D Line, while we have bottom-of-the-league caliber depth at TE and Safety. Still some free agent safeties out there that can help. Tight End could be a huge achilles heal this year.

I won't miss Switzer's stubborn refusal to fair catch. It potentially cost the Cowboys one game last year. Kid's probably going to end up in a wheelchair if he keeps that up in Oakland.

I liked Switz but he wasn’t going to be utilized right with Beasley here and the teams reliance on a TE. It’s smart for them to move him for something they like instead of letting him rot on the bench like Bennett did.

Switzer didn’t show much as a receiver and other than one good return he didn’t do much as a returner. He was taking too many chances on returns from deep in the end zone, not even getting to the 20 yard line.

I thought switzer was waste of a draft pick to me. he never really showed anything to me. he lost the rams game with the bonehead fumble. he had two good runs against the skins but every team did that they played. I do not see anything wrong with trading him. now if he turns into a receiver like edleman then we can complain then.

It is. Despite what some are saying. We traded a player we don't need for a player at a position of need that might work out if his health issues last year were a fluke.

Some seem to think it was going to be Beasley and I wasn’t buying that. If it was up to some on this board they would get rid of all our best players. Beasley is our best chain moving receiver.

Beasley can line up on offense and do the halftime concert on Thanksgiving. No way Dallas can part with that.
