The deification of Tony Romo is now complete. He is now deemed untradeable. This from a team that traded a proven stud like Herschel Walker. Hell, a Super Bowl QB and Pro-Bowler in his prime like Bledsoe was traded, but Tony "mild hot streak" Romo is somehow "untouchable." It is to laugh.
To answer your question: yes, an undrafted QB can be moved if the price is right. Save the meth for the sheep.
This isn't Madden 2007 we're playing on the PS3, here.
It took how long to get a Bledsoe in here -- a guy capable of just throwing more touchdowns than interceptions? Now we have a Pro Bowler; a young quarterback that should improve and has played well....and we should unleash him?
I guess the grass really is always greener on the other side.
Where would we go looking for his replacement? Draft him with the 23rd or so pick? Sign Kerry Collins?
This reminds me of the "TO MUST GO!!" mantra. Mask the real problems with easy targets.
Romo isn't without his flaws. But all young quarterbacks are this way. Even in Romo's "poor" month of December, he's managed two games of 100-plus QB ratings. I realize it's not all about statistics, but it is a partial reflection of how someone is playing.
His two bad games came against Philly and New Orleans. But if we're lynching players for those two games, we won't have a single player left on the roster, except maybe Mat McBriar.
